Entropia Universe: Inside The Arkadia GoldRush 2023 Instance! Mechanics, Event Details & More!

earnped.com caught up with StevieB inside the metaverse playing the real cash economy MMORPG Entropia Universe.
Today we came to Planet Arkadia to check out the GoldRush 2023 event that runs until November 27, 2023.
We go to AAkas TP and get the missions for mining and crafting from the GoldRush NPC. We also get the hunting mission which requires me to be in cat 3 or 4 due to my HP.
Unfortunately there is no practice instance that would let me go into a lower category simply to grind without competing.
Keep in mind that the mining and crafting competition runs the entire length of the event while the hunting competition is 10 runs of 12 hours each with your best run being your official score.
When you enter the instance it will automatically start recording a 12 hour run and record your points.
ONCE YOU GET THE MISSIONS DO NOT ABANDON THEM!
Inside the instance we have a 6 hour timer meaning we need to complete 2 full instances in order to complete a single 12 hour competition run. Inside the category 3 instance the mobs are level 55 with 3,000 HP.
If you stay in the top of the temple in the center of the instance you will find repair, revive and trade terminals. You will also find an exit statue in the corners of the room.
Notice that when we stand in this room at the very center of the instance the competition clock stops so it seems that as long as we don't start down the stairs our 12 hour run clock is not running. This mechanic can be used to your advantage if you are trying to seriously compete.
Looking at the Hall of Fame we can see that most people who will be in the hunting competition are still completing Halloween Mayhem but will soon be switching their focus to Gold Rush.
We can already see a lot of people mining and crafting which means we can expect VERY high point scores for the mining and crafting competitions.

After checking the event out I'm even more impressed. The Arkadia Development Team has really done a GREAT job on this event....I just wish there was a practice instance that would allow us to grind lower levels without competing.
Also remember that Arkoins drop inside the instance which may be useful for completing your Smuggler Mission Chain if you plan to gain access to the Smuggler Genetics Lab on Arkadia Moon later on.

Was super excited for this event. Didn't know it was gunna happen then boom they drop it on me as I'm on ark finishing up old creature kill missions and working my way thru the oratan kill mission for the ship. Finally a way for me to get enough arkcoins to use the smuggler instance and drastically save time . I am also finally in the position to actually compete not just play in the instance. Finished my first 12 hr run already. Just wish there was a way to see my standing against others. Fyi instance 1 had horrendous loot returns overall wasn't impressed with the returns but the codex and arkcoins gains were worth it I think for me. Fyi I've been online almost since it started and all the big hunting globals are coming out of instance 3,4 and from the shrapnel for crafting. There are tons of people competing in crafting

Not gonna lie , been playing since project Entropia, went to away for 10 years (not by choice) but as soon as I got back , I got back on , ❤❤❤
