The video editing is done with Adobe Premiere Pro. The effects such as movement tracking with the letters is done with Adobe After Effects, and objects on top of letters is called Roto Brush, which you can do using also Adobe After Effects.

Ekko has a white step father (his own isn't to be found of course), he has blonde hair (too funny), he is super smart (avg IQ 87) and in the world of crime he is actually a nice and clean guy (yea ok). He of course lusts after a white girl, who of finds him attractive. He is very desperately trying to be white, even though he can never be. This envy and desire for white gеnеtiсs that can't be achieved is perfectly presented in Ekko
Black people dyeing their hair is hardly that odd, my dude. Also, being smart is a white person thing? I assume you're not trying to stereotype people on person, but implying that being a moral and intelligent person isn't possible for a poor, black kid who grew up in the fantasy version of the hood really isn't doing anyone any favours.
