Hey I have a question. How do you always know where to color certain parts darker than others? Sorry if this is a stupid question. :P
Shavedify Basicaly you imagine theres a light source like the sun and imagine its rays hitting the face of the character the part where it hits the character will be most lightest everything further away will be darker because theres no light hitting it also you can do it under creases and stuff and use different shades to indicate how dark it is if its dark but not that dark use a light dark shade if its very dark use a dark color. In his drawing you can see the sun is at the right due to everything on the left side of the drawing being darker
