Just a friendly reminder: DO NOT tight the top bolts until you get your tires on the ground. They need to be torqued at ride height if you don’t want unevenly tire wear. I will also strongly recommend to get an alignment after you install any suspension component, because otherwise it can cause problems in the long run.
Mopar45 No extra parts. Just ask the mechanic to install new fasteners if your vehicle has 30,000+ miles on it already. If you want the flush look with no negative camber in the rear, then look into Eibach’s camber bushings. I might be going that route in the future to help with tire wear and ride comfort.
On the original strut, there is a white plastic spacer under the original rubber boot.my question is will this spacer keep the car from being lower when installed?
Can anyone tell me please. Why I have a huge bolt coming down from top of front wheel wells. I only have maybe 2 inches or less between that bolt and my tire hitting it. At 4:38 this car doesn't have one poking down.
What all would you need to make it sit flush where there's no uneven tire wear? I'm looking at the eibach pro lowering springs. Either going with this damper kit, or Bilstein b6.
I ran over a curb at night in my 16 challenger rt. I have the eibach pro kit coilover kit with springs.. had dodge replace my damage cradle. Now the driver side is .5" higher than the front passenger side. Any ideas why its off .5" now? Is the driver side strut damage, or did dodge possibly not assemble it back together properly?
Did you ever figure out what the issue was because I’m running into the currently. Rear is making some clunk noises on both ends. Definitely an install error I can’t pin it on anything though.
Is there a sport version? Just wondering because i know there are pro and aport springs. Dont wanna get these when im suppose to have the sport version to match my spings
So no one's gonna mention that while he was removing the sway bar from the strut, he set his impact to tighten as too loosen 🤦♂️😂... But it happens haha.

I have the sportsline springs on my challenger. will these stiffen the ride more? that's what I want

Great job explaining the benefit from spring and strut change over!
Thanks for watching, John! -Zach
Torque specs?
Just got the Pro Kit with springs and shocks. I’m hella excited
Awesome, Scott! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the kit! -Zach

Any one know the size of the nut we’re the strut connects to the control arms ?
Hey nice video, but I want to make my challenger higher off the road, I'd like to install jeep tires for winter
You may need to spend some time looking around for a little spacer lift kit then! We don't carry anything like that at our site. -Zach
Does it come with springs too?

Lance Walden I have it too but it won’t hit the tire at all
It’s because your shock is bad, mine did that too it hovers right above it when the wheels on, its decompressed.
Thanks. I will look into that...
Do you know what the torque specs are for the bolts?
Will it be same process for a 2009 challenger ? Can’t find any videos for older years
Is this what I need if I have the nivomat system on my 18 shaker?

Was there a clunking noise after installing these because I got one 🥺

I drive a Camaro and had this issue with my suspension. Ended up being torn end links. @@perrystephens6403

Are all of the shock/strut components universal in terms of the gt vs. a scat?
They are not due to weight differences between models. I'd highly recommend getting a kit that is specific for your vehicle. -Zach
@@AmericanMuscleDodge do you have any recommendations in regard to the 2018 all wheel drive GT model

You just made my job easier thanks
Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! -Zach
Would this be good for my bagged challenger
Word of advice! Do not use lowering springs. Stop being a cheapo and get coilovers. Save yourself the headache.
Seems like a downgrade to me. Bilsteins are awesome!
must be a car from the north, things all rusted underneath
Gotta love road salt. 😅 Thanks for watching, Colin! -Zach
Nice

That’s a major downgrade
Explain why???
@@alfredoserralles5396 the pre-existing shocks & struts were Bilstein Performance brand which is a great brand.
