For the price of an affiliation strap you can get up to three regular plates or an ultimate that aren't that common as the immovable object that Zoro uses all the time on crazy movesets... for me is plates over straps this time (Wondering, where would the straps go on the PGMP?)
The straps usually don't end up so high, but considering all things, and how many medallions one gets, it might be best for some roosters. This is a tricky prizewall to break down.
I ended up spending $60 to get both Creed and Rocky76 outright. I’m debating on spending $40 more to get the Moment. If I do I’ll end up with more medallions. I think I’ll probably grab the affiliation strap for Creed cause of his bleed ability; along with Clubber’s affiliation strap to buff him too. I’m a ways off from 400 so it’ll probably be Ult skill plates and Ult Affiliations this go around.
I don't have any of those characters I only did the Hard Hitters chapter and got 11 medallions from it and I don't know if they're going to add anymore chapters

$100 for the moment is a bit excessive, in my opinion...

Nice! It really does depend on your plans for your rooster 🐓 and if you'll actually use them
I am probably going to go for the skill plates. The affiliation straps are nice but not sure how often i would use them.
