It's really.not. If you do that, you get what you get. A1-15 is priority. So if 15ppl buy the checkin upgrades, they add all of THEM first. Next it's those that did the 36hr check in that start at A16 and however many did THAT, the numbers are blocked. I've been on flights where SO many people paid for early checkin that "regular" checkin didn't begin til like B30! So no, your statement is wrong. He JUST told you how SW let's you sit. Ya, first come KS served and everyone ELSE gets what's left over. I've been in SW flights where NO one got A1-15 priority boarding, so the space was just a gap. I was like A33, so technically, I was 18th in line, not 33rd.
dont fly there theres a chance that you wouldnt be able to board a flight even if you bought your ticket and showed proof because if theres a "Extra sized" person they are allowed to take another seat for free for comfort
Hi.. next week i'm going to try southwest for my trip.. i wanna ask about early bird, it said auto check in 36hrs before departure, right? I mean, so i don't need to check in online again and just waiting the confirmation to email.. am i right or any advise? 🙏
Southwest is the Most Accommodating to Senior Citizens. I fly a lot. 2-3 a year. 1. Southwest is the best in my opinion. 2. Delta has the roomiest Planes ✈️. 3. United Only is my last resort. ( usually during holidays when flights are heavily booked
I like 2nd to middle row Window seat(Edit): 2nd to middle from behind the middle, i dont feel like listening to TAWS or TCAS or even EGPWS at the front of the plane lol cause last time i flew spirit omg TAWS AND EGPWS KEPT GOING OFF IT WAS ANNOYING AND BEST PART WE WERE NO WHERE NEAR ANY TERRAIN IT WAS A GRASS PLAIN(kind of) That Goes To Show Poor Engineering quality in Spirits planes
If you are over 65 and have pre existing health conditions: Southwest is remarkable in accommodating early boarding. Military, parents with small kids and older Folks are given boarding priority
Doesn’t matter if you are A1-A15 because 40 people in wheel chairs will board the flight before you, 35 of which will magically walk off the plane on their own power once they reach their final destination.
so when do I pick my seats with the early bird ? I purchased 4 plane tickets with early bird because I want all of us to be on the same row and I don't want no middle seat
Seats are first come, first serve, so it depends on when you get on the plane. Early bird status helps a little, but once aboard the plane, you'll have to try to physically hold a row of seats for your friends/family (good luck with that) The best way to get on the plane sooner, is to purchase either upgraded seating, or business select tickets, in advance. It will cost you more, but you will be one of the first 15 people to board the plane.
how to get a better boarding position, don’t fly SWA ! Useless to pay extra $$$ for business select and early bird check-in when you have bunch of people abusing the pre-board policy all the damn time! Prefer extra legroom/first class seats on Delta, American and Alaska
How much weight do you need to gain, to get the free second seat? You're gonna get kicked off as a normal sized person, so just how obese do you need to be to get others kicked out for you?
dont fly there theres a chance that you wouldnt be able to board a flight even if you bought your ticket and showed proof because if theres a "Extra sized" person they are allowed to take another seat for free for comfort
I was the last to board a southwest flight and ended up in between a skinny old lady and an extra sized man who made me extremely uncomfortable, I got up to ask for a switch but it was a full flight. An uncomfortable flight from Hawaii to LA later I finally got up and could stretch
When are you going to stop letting people's wheelchairs get lost and damaged??? Disabled people need these, and 30 are either lost or damaged ever single day. BE CAREFUL WITH PEOPLE'S MOBILITY AIDS!!!!!!
For new customers at Southwest seating is 1st come 1st served 👍

@@BubbleGumzKorner what you said is literally what first come first serve means
Thanks for the tips. I haven’t flown southwest in a while and just started back. These tips are gonna help my family in the future.. thanks again

I’ve never seen a $20 A upgrade. Chicago to Vegas was $70, they’re usually $50 for other close flights.
I've been A16 and didn't have to pay anything extra. I just checked in at EXACTLY 24hrs before.
I've never have received anything higher than a44. Then again my flights are always fully booked. People are on it. Lucky!
I’m the first person to watch this video! That’s one small step for man, one *GIANT* Leap for mankind! I watched Artemis one blast off last night!
My go to spot is the back window seat… I’m never in a hurry to just wait for my bags anyway. Just take my time and get to the same place
What is the advantage of paying the ‘Anytime’ price? Is it correct that any time includes early bird costs?
Great info!!
Is that the same for disabled guests with accessibility issues do they bored first
Thank you man very great information! 🤙🏽
How does checking in early give you better seats, please explain
I love how he calls the safest seat a crappy one😂
I luv airplanes been to inside of an airport since I was kid memories(nostalgia).

You all should become a low-cost international carrier with seatback screen and you all be awesome for it
If you have southwest priority chase card, do you just get the phrased boarding or the upgraded business select?
😮😮😮whoa. Glad I watched this tutorial b4 boarding...
I have a question. What happens if you get stuck in the middle seat?
A better term for “boarding position” is seat.
When do you ask for the customer of size policy?

Never flying with them again if I can help it. Packed so tight in there I wanted to jump .
All flights are packed on every airline. Better leg room than UA or AA or Frontier
@@darrellpierson9407 nah unless you have premium economy which SW doesn’t have.
Option number 5. Just sit at your random seat

Or, if you have a stash of points racked up, you can redeem business select with them
That’s what I did 😆
That is not a hack. That’s a purchase
they said ways, not hacks anyway. and ofc you have to purchase shit..
Going on a plane for my first time, next week, any advice ?
Dress comfortabely
Doesn’t matter if you are A1-A15 because 40 people in wheel chairs will board the flight before you, 35 of which will magically walk off the plane on their own power once they reach their final destination.
Thanks
Preboard also an option
I never got the A even though I check 24 hr on the dot..
Inclusive(free) premium beverage for business flight upgrade?
Last time I got to choose my seat😂
My Hack is to stay away from Southwest Airlines, lately they really stink, too many delays and annoying cancellations.
Family boarding tips?
I’m going on southwest to Florida for a cruise and I got stuck in a middle seat😂

If i buy 2 tickets will we sit together? Buying the cheapest option. (Wanna get away)

Pov: your mom is a pre- bordering wheelchair passenger 😊😂
Please fly to KABE
Southwest! Why fly first class when you can have no class
😂
No one talking about southwest flight 372
IM A PLANE
I’m flying on Southwest tomorrow! MEM-ATL on a 737 MAX 8. I’m so excited!
❤❤
So glad they did away with this archaic seating model. SW been clueless for years thinking this was a good idea

F southwest
this is how they try to make more money
Well done! #wheelsupwanderlust #southwestemployeehere

🎉🎉🎉
It's all about $$$, I'm fat and I fart, people be ready for me. Never flying on this tin can again
Why do y’all taxi do fast
Why
u clearly dont know anything about the swa business.
Thats from america
Y u take my name this my name on tiktok
Or book that ticket with delta, aa, or United… hell even spirit airlines
The better option, dont fly with Southwest.
Step one: be an unaccompanied minor
dont fly there theres a chance that you wouldnt be able to board a flight even if you bought your ticket and showed proof because if theres a "Extra sized" person they are allowed to take another seat for free for comfort
I was the last to board a southwest flight and ended up in between a skinny old lady and an extra sized man who made me extremely uncomfortable, I got up to ask for a switch but it was a full flight. An uncomfortable flight from Hawaii to LA later I finally got up and could stretch
Or ride with someone who has a disability
Another easy way
Be a kid and be an ✨unattended minor✨
