@@camillescreations thanks Camille - I thought the collar idea was funny! The hanks have since been put back in the jar until I find a good pattern for all the crazy colored yarns. 🧶 😆
Hi Ellen! You look like a scarecrow with the hat and mini’s around your neck like that. I did the hat, I dunno I just don’t care for the brim much. It’s ok and I don’t usually do hats so I wanted to do this one and I plan to start the stocking cap that was just done also. And I look forward to hearing what you decide to do with the minis, funny enough Aberdeen just shipped me my 50 mini refills, I think I ordered the 50 count (have to double check that). I have no idea what to make with them and I was thinking along the lines of a rectangular shawl/wrap. I think I have a blister on my thumb from using double strands for that hat. I think I much rather use a super bulky yarn instead of holding and pulling a double strand through, that was a pain at times. You do the dishcloths too, I am really enjoying that. I have all my pieces for the reindeer made, just have to sew it all together. You did #SYRP! Wish I knee you were going to do it, we have a real similar taste, I would have loved to do it with you, I have yarn that I keep and pet occasionally (hahaha) and say “one of these days I will find a pattern worthy for you”, and I just can’t decide on anything. You did great !! Wow that color gold is out of this world beautiful and it looks fantastic with the variegated one and in a shawlette! Wow, just wow. Absolutely lovely, Ellen!! Wonderful job all things. For someone who isn’t crocheting for long you knocked it out of the park!!!
@@DianneMajorCrochet thank you so very much for your kind words! Funny, I agree now I see the scarecrow 🤣 I taught myself to crochet over 25 years ago making doilies with Aunt Lydias thread - but did not pick up a hook crocheting regularly until lockdown about three/four years ago.. I've learned so much from this wonderful YT crochet community. Keep an eye out for #SRYP - for the next round. It would be great if you can join in the fun 🧶

I'm not gonna buy any either. Love your hat, but you can keep the collar. It's adorable though. can't wait to see what you make with them.
Lol - I actually put them back in the jar -- could not decide on a pattern 😅😅
