KJK's English is actually astounding. I know he attributes it to visiting LA often but still, I know a bunch of mainland Koreans who have LIVED in SoCal for 10+ years, and they can never shed their thick accent. I know Kookie is smart and all, but I feel like this is the biggest example of that. Because he doesn't come off as someone who's trying to speak English. He has a very slight accent but overall the accent, flow, and speech pattern sounds completely American. And THAT is what is so hard to replicate.
I start looking for this interview after watching HaHa mention in runningman latest episode that he didn't even say a word during the interview that they had when he and JongKook went to New York.. and it made me laugh so hard at the moment the girl say Cho YunPil.. that Haha made an excessive response, because I think he only understand the name but not what the girl is saying.. anyway.. it's nice to know that Jong Kook can speak very well in English.. I hope all of them did, hee.. :)

Running Man focuses on how to make it look fun and the comedy, and the bonding the cast has. Honestly, Celebrities in America can't even joke around like that because people will automatically assume it's a "feud".
