Thank-you! Here is the first bit of what Google's AI says..."Honey laundering is a type of food fraud that occurs when honey is adulterated with cheaper ingredients to increase its value or reduce production costs. This can involve mixing in syrups from corn, rice, cane, or sugar beets." (and commonly blending in cheaper honeys of unlabelled origin).
This sounds like an instant classic 3 Bird. What a great lyric. I guess this can be applied to many things that are adulterated and diluted for mass consumption. I love bees, well I love nature in general, wasps, snails, spiders et al. They are all welcome in my garden and house. Sadly though, honey is something that I’ve never really liked, I don’t know why.
Thanks, I appreciate the comments! Ironically, I have virtually limitless access to "free" honey and rarely use it. It baffles me because I am very frugal, prefer local & natural products and foods that aren't highly processed - so I should be using a lot more honey instead of buying sugar. I don't dislike it, it just isn't what I reach for as a sweetener (I use it more in cooking and making soap).
Excellent song!
Thank-you!
