The problem I have with these two is they can not just give Caitlin the proper credit, respect that she deserves. Why did Copper wear herself out defending Clark? A 22 PPG guard scored 7 points in this game. Why did Tibbets put a guard on Smith and at times a guard on Griner? Come on, now. Of course Caitlin's teammates played well and it was a team victory but Caitlin, on a really bad shooting night, accounted for 44 of 88 points the Fever made. Caitlin was the engine. It wasn't even about DT vs. CC as they rarely guarded each other. And it's not about CC's stats or the stupid triple double stat she nearly got. It was more about CC's exceptional court vision and passing with the threat of her shooting that makes her lethal. Plus her poise to withstand some early jitters and not feeling well and still being effective. But it pains the two of you to ever admit she's special. And that's sad. As for others, yes, Mitchell and Boston and Temi Fagbenlie were instrumental in the win and I hope Caitlin Clark-only Stans can acknowledge her teammates as Caitlin would love them to do. The two teams play again soon and I think it'll be a different game but have no idea of who will shine in that one. I don't expect K Copper to only score 7.

If they're as competitive as Chicago was, then that's a good thing. It will be interesting to watch Grey vs. Clark because Grey will have a sense of what passes Clark may throw and anticipate some of them. This may be the two best passing guards in the league playing against each other. It's certainly two of the best with I think Chelsea being the best.
