Not sure if anyone said it already, but the reason for the extra border of pixels is that the screen will occasionally shift pixels around to avoid burn in. Basically taking the whole picture and moving it up (or left, down, right) by a pixel or two to avoid burn in
If you got a C1 there are a lot of secrets you can do to increase the brightness of the TV in game optimizer mode. Putting Module HDR forced on under SDR in the service menu is one of them
I recently got the Gigabyte version of this monitor and it likes to randomly shutdown after a few hours of usage, I assume the pixel cleaner is to blame but I can't be certain. Does this monitor do something like that?
@VeryIntenz hi today the monitor said it would shut down in 30 seconds if I didn't press ignore. So basically it would have shut down if I didn't confirm I wanted it to stay on. But it didn't shut down without a warning. Hope that helps

@@imrotten thanks
It’s sucks you can’t turn off pixel shifting like the c1 but it’s what you have to deal with to prevent temporary image retention on OLEDS

Thanks for the advice mate!

Not up to now it hasn't but I haven't had it long. If it does I'll let you know. And if it does it will be getting returned 😂
@@toonnut1 Probably would've happened, I've only had mine a day ;( Although maybe the Samsung would be a better option then ^^

@@toonnut1mine hasn't done that for the past 2-3mos that I've had the monitor.
@Le_Mon9 mine only done it 1 time so I presume it was one of the settings I changed
Hey 👋
Congratulations on your purchase. Enjoy your new monitor 😊
Thanks bro it's really good up to now 👍
I got the aw2725df, pretty much same monitor besides the purple tent and glossy coating. IPS is disgusting now
I only bought this because it was heavily discounted 😂
@@toonnut1how much did it cost? and did you get Free SSD with it?
@yorgischmorgie8721 I've not received my ssd yet it's due next month. It was £607 including delivery (Edit I've received my free ssd and that's great)
