      That chain I a 2mm rope chain. We liked the size for the weight of some of the pieces. We have switched to 2mm stainless rope chains. They don’t tarnish and still look great. Thank you for watching.

    Hi Jeremy! I’ve been looking at various bending tools and realize that the one you use from Flatwearable is going to be the best in the long run. Thank you so much for providing all the details about what you do and how you do it! (And where to get it!)

    Thank-you Jeremy for sharing your video's. You are such a patient teacher. Do you think that it would be easier to drill the hole when the silverware handle is flat- before bending? Also- i don't understand why you didn't use the square bending attachment instead of the mini pin to give the bottom of the heart a more defined bend.. Just wondering. Your finished product is beautiful- I was just curious.

    • @FlatwareCreationSS
      @FlatwareCreationSS  4 роки тому +2

      cynthia Hicks Thank you for watching. I drilled it after so that I could get the angle that I wanted. If you drove it before there’s no real telling it’s going to be in the exact spot that you need it so that it hangs right. And I did this before Suzanne came out with the square pin. 😊

      Carolanne Connolly-Brown the metal is spoon or fork handles. The wire is 20ga stainless and the charms are picked out by size to fit in the heart. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you subscribed 😊

    • @FlatwareCreationSS

      The blocks in the vice? They are 1” X 3/4” firing strips from Lowe’s. Most of your local hardware stores should have them. The blocks in the arbor press are from www.flatwearable.net

    Another question- do you think that hand piece would fit a harbor freight 3" bench grinder? I would like to replace the tacky hand piece that came with my tool Wish I still had my Foredom. It was sweet.

      They came with the flatwearable.net bender kit. I don’t have the new forming blocks. These that I’m using are about 3 years old. I have made Thousands of pieces with them.

    • @FlatwareCreationSS
      @FlatwareCreationSS  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah that will work. The last ones that I made I started the bend then took a large flathead screwdriver and hammered the center line. To make a sharper point. If that makes sense. That way I didn’t have to use my small pin.
