    I used to get my flatbed unloaded by this guy and once he had a Stewart jersey on and I asked where he got that and how did he know about James. He said, He's my cousin and this is one of his old jersey's. I told him of my love for the sport and the next time I showed up he had a signed poster with my name from James. Good people!

      He rode on the edge and above his ability; thus he always crashed. Dungey did not take him out on purpose. Stewart cut down early in the corner. Stewart probably did have more crashes than those riders combined. They did proper recovery back then. Have you ever seen Bubba's World? He had to use a machine that was healing his broken bone faster. He was able to tolerate the pain because he was on meth (Adderall).

    Looking at his win stats and watching his successful races he was clearly fast as hell. I wonder if he rode all out at 110% at all times, thus inducing fatigue, causing serious crashes. Riding at and beyond control limit. Amazing Racer. Pushed the sport forward. A true legend. Never seen so many endo's. I feel sorry for anyone that raced against him, as well as any bike he rode. His mother. Bless her soul.

      True and a few of those mechanicals. He ran his forks so stiff there was no give in the front end at all, the rear was like concrete too. Nothing scarier than your bike losing power as you hit a big triple or quad. James was the epitome of go big or go home...sometimes on a stretcher.

      It’s because his front wheel wasn’t on the ground

    • @YFZriderdude15
      @YFZriderdude15 2 роки тому

      Yes but not nearly enough to overcome the energy of one tire hitting the jump face and the other missing it. If only the rear tire is in contact with the ground on a take-off, it will endo 100% of the time because the front tire didn't sustain any pressure from the ground to keep the front end up in the air. Imagine, if you have something attached to a pole, with the pole going through the middle, and you press on one side of it with one hand, it will spin around the pole. If you press on both sides with both hands, it will stay still (or, in the case of a dirt bike, it will stay _level_ in the air). In this scenario, your hands are the ground acting on the object, aka the bike.

    A highlight reel normally showcases a riders “highlights” not lowlights.
    It would be considered in “poor taste” or even “hateful” to make a highlight reel of Carmichael’s lowlights. Stewart should be no different.

    Could have broke his leg. That's what Justin did to Roczen the other night in Indy.

    I feel like I remember most of these crashes but I forgot how many injuries he caused to other riders and seasons he ended prematurely.

    Greatest racer of all time but he was too fast for his own good 😔🫡

      Not even close. 2 sx and just 1 mx title dont make you the greatest racer of all time. He may have been the fastest on a Sx track when he didnt crash. RC, MC, RV all better racers who could calculate risk and finish off championship seasons. You guys crack me up with the JS best ever BS. He did what all riders do when they try to ride beyond their limit ........... CRASH. He only beat RC sx win total because he raced 5 more years, same as tomac. RC 10x Mx champ and 5 x Sx. RV had 4 strait Sx titles and more Mx titles and Mx race wins.
