I don't know how slick your table is but it looks like the wheels are pretty grippy because the car isn't drifting everywhere when you turn. This thing does look really nice!
+Jefafa Von Richthofen Yeah, the wheels have a bit of grip to the rubber, but also this car is just not that fast, so I don't think drifting would be a problem on any surface.
+Michael Thompson I'm not sure if they've made any new products recently, but I'd love to see them continue with the nano tech. I have looked at their planes so many times, but they're still a bit too big/fast for my small house. I still dream of the day I can actually fly a plane in my living room. :)
Dude this is the same car you posted on Facebook and I said deliver that shot to me....finally you did a review so I'm ordering 4 I know it's pricey but they are gunna make amazing Xmas presents thanks for doin the review in time for Christmas I hope they arrive on time👍👽👍
I believe those kind of drinks are called "shots", not that I have personally indulged in them, but may have seen them "tossed down" [i believe is the term] at a frat or sorority "event"... Nice find Ryan, looks like you could create some fun challenges on the dining room table to pass time on a rainy day. After you've dried off from some bodacious mud slogging.
Very cool. Its kind of expensive, but small engineering is expensive. Most people just dont get it. Racket pinion steering on such a small little thing, is pretty damn impressive. The light and sound is pretty cool too. This thing really has a lot of features for its size. Maby you can put the link for the trailer in the description? Think that would be nice ;)
+Cr125stin I've looked at their planes so many times, and am constantly impressed. But, I think they are still a bit too big/fast to fly in my small house, but then too small to fly outdoors unless you have no wind at all. So, I don't really think I'd have anywhere to use them, or show them off in a video. And, for as expensive as they are, I just can't get myself to take the risk.
I am sorry Lucas what i meant was the app cost money to develop not to actually download that contributes to why the little car cost alot of money is the development of the app
+Lmao Lmoo I have considered them, and am intrigued by them, but they are still too fast to be flown in a house, and I don't have a larger indoor area to fly them. So, if I were to fly them outside, I would need nearly perfectly calm wind conditions, and that rarely happens here in IL, and is even rarer that it happens on a day and time that I can film a flight video. heh I also don't think it would show up on camera very well, so it just doesn't seem very conducive to a good review video. :/
Flyin' Ryan RC ya. I saw the guy flying one in wind but he's the guy who makes them so he's probably pretty good. It's just hard trying to find a solid review for them. Not sure if they're worth the price.
+Josh Davis one more thing i am looking for a second Quad i have the hubsan x4 h107d. i am looking for something with a decent/good camera. (doesn't need to be fpv)
You should review the micro rover from plantraco, It looks pretty cool and that lap timer looks like a great idea! Great review, however I hate watching your vids sometimes as I know you will change my mind on what RC I want lol! ;)
+X-FLIGHT101 I don't remember if I said or not, but I did end up ordering the Apache. Should be here Monday. I know that for me, personally, the 200 QX will definitely still be my favorite flyer. I've heard of some issues with the Apache, and in general scale models are not the best performers, since they sacrifice weight for detail. It's a CP heli, but I wouldn't expect to be doing any serious 3D with it, other than mild loops and maybe some inverted flying (I won't be doing any of that, as I am no 3D pilot, heh).
+Flyin' Ryan RC Great! Can't wait for the review! Are horizon shipping to the uk for cheap yet? I asked someone on the live chat but they didn't know haha, RC is always more expensive in the uk unless it's a uk based brand
+X-FLIGHT101 I have no idea. I'd imagine the fees there have something to do with customs and import taxes, so you'd have to take it up with your government, not Horizon. lol
Sorry for second comment Ryan, not trying to flood you, but had a great time chasing your link to buy at Amazon. The REV by Wowewee looks pretty kewl. Only prob is, all the reviews are by Wowwee, the review by others are slideshows, don't really show how good/bad they work. Will keep an eye out though. Then stumbled across the Anki Overdrive, awesome review by the mfg, but like REV, not really any by users yet. Have a great Saturday!
+Steve RC I have considered both of those, but they are expensive, and really require multiple drivers to make the most fun of them. So, that would involve extra arrangement for me to get a friend to help in testing and reviewing them. I will continue to consider them, but it's a bit of a daunting review to take on.
The REV has a chase mode that allows you to, like in a video game, play against the computer. But the Anki; good point, takes two play. I was considering either as a gift to nephews, but not until I see a review by a user. Like that stupid Air Hogs X-Wing fighter that doesn't fly. Don't want something that works in the mfg's perfect environment, then doesn't work outside of that. Thanks for the reply Ryan, and have a great day!
Steve RC Hey now, wait till you see my review of the X-Wing! ;) I really like it, but yes, it requires very specific flying conditions, and is definitely not for beginners.
He he... Maybe you have the magic touch, was going by Saylor's attempt to make it fly and also Eflite. All the Star Wars nutz at work were talking about it and taking a Costco trip at lunch, so I forwarded the links. Does it fly better than a rock floats?
+Steve RC I had mine in the air for nearly the entire battery duration, doing slow fly-bys and everything. I had a blast with it, and was geeking out big time. lol My review is scheduled to be published this Friday. :)
I have had my car for a few years now, haven't used mine for years, but the car seems to have a problem with the steering rack, it says so on the screen. What do I do? Theresa
+Frequent Flyer RC This thing has been out since 2012, so you'd think there would already be clones. Someone commented saying they got the same thing at GearBest for $35, but they haven't replied back with a link, and I can't seem to find what they are talking about.
+Frequent Flyer RC Yeah, me too, but honestly I didn't mind it at all with this model... it's so slow that it's not like you are moving the sticks quickly, so you don't end up moving your fingers too far, etc, etc. I really didn't have a problem at all with this one. :) And it's nice to not lug a controller around with it, if you take it to work or whatever. :)
you should get a world tech toys reaper remote control truck I never seen a review of it befor and it looks like a good Rc truck World Tech Toys Reaper Remote Control Truck
+Radley Jabilona That looks like junk. Most World Tech Toys products are very low quality. And, since it runs on AA batteries, I can guarantee that it's slow and not powerful enough to do any real off-roading.
If you still have it or can find it, how much does it weigh? I have a model crane and have been looking for a small rc car I can lift with it. My other option was coke can rc but this looks sooo much better. I love your videos and they convinced me to buy my syma x11c. Please respond because I am very interested!
I don't have it to weigh it any more, but it was very light, and I'd imagine a model crane should be able to lift it. You may be able to find the weight online somewhere.
The one thing that has kept me away from low-cost micro RC cars is the lack of proportional steering, which I consider critical. You had me sold on this car until I realized that it was smartphone operated. Guess I have to keep waiting. I need a physical steering wheel to hold onto, else propo steering is pointless. Is there a compatible wheel TX available? Simulated, virtual wheels and sticks just don't cut it for me, as I use what I feel as well as what I see to drive. Phone-controllers remind me of those membrane keyboards on the old Atari 400 PCs and other budget computers that provided zero tactile feedback when you typed. Those keyboards didn't survive for long because of.
+Flyin' Ryan RC I recently purchased a transmitter, camera, and fpv monitor from the Wltoys v686g. Could all these things work with the regular v686 quadcopter?
Thats cool and funny man very nice litle car. I wish they make a version with pistol controller so you can feel the throtle and steering. Also a 4x4 scale truck version that can crawl would be awsome. One tekila shot on the go plz. lol Thanks for the vid.
+panic mike Yeah, a physical controller would be nice, though I have to say, I didn't have any issues controlling this with my phone, like I have had with some other RCs. They do make an SUV version, but not a truck or 4WD... maybe that is in the future for this vehicle. :)
hey Ryan,I have an very important question I want to ask you.I have the hexacopter brand(w609-10) and when I charge the battery,it didn't show the red light from the charger chord. how to fix it? is it the battery problem or the charging chord? this is very important.I saw you did fyl and review on this brand so I think you can help me out thanks.
Juice? I'm not sure what juice you are drinking but I'm pretty sure it's likely not for juice Ryan ;). You forgot to mention about yaw rate too? haha :). Great review as always.
Hi Ryan I have a question I noticed that you have 2 So can you drive multiple cars at the same time is there any interference I would imagine not since the remote is a smart phone but I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed so I had 2 ask
+Dave “Quad Therapy” Vale Since they connect via Bluetooth, they will only connect with the phone you pair them to. So yep, you can run several at the same time and not worry about interference. :)
Ryan that car is on awesome but I think $50 is a lot of money even though it is a precision car and like you said its not one of those cars in a can. I just think the price tag is a little stiff. now another thing if you said that car is a couple years old I can't wait to see what their future cars would look like are they going to be smaller? are they going to be faster? are they going to be more precise? nobody knows. but it's always good to see your reviews I love your reviews they're pretty accurate just keep them coming buddy alright Ryan you're the best.
+Paul Santora Thanks bud! Yeah, I believe this car came out in 2012, so I'm wondering if a new version is in the works. The price is still a bit on the steep side, but I really do think it's worth it, especially if you consider that you're paying for the app development too, and this is an Canadian company, so they have a higher cost of doing business, and customer service, which adds to the price over Chinese equivalents.
+Chill LOL it kinda does look like that! I thought it also kind of looks like my Infiniti G35 (but not as cool, lol). Hmmm, I never tested range, since this is sort of meant as a desktop driver, and with as slow as it is, I just don't think you'd ever have much reason to drive this far away from yourself.
No way this is a Canadian company i would of never knew that. I love anything Canadian lol. how do you know its Canadian? well the cars aren't made there obviously more like China but they are developed and designed in Canada? and the App cost money too.
+Paul Santora The app itself is free to the user, but I meant that the app cost the company money to develop, so that is accounted for in the price of the vehicle. And yep, the company is in Canada... you can see here in their contact info: www.microflight.com/Contact-Us
Why someone has not tryed to make an hobby-grade controller that is Bluetooth compatibile? You actually don't smash your phone screen by trying to keep your finger on the pad
I'm not sure there would really be much of a market for that. But you can get game controllers that connect to a phone, which would give you something more like an actual controller experience.
Idk how I found this in 2019 but it look amazing just bought it thx for the great review
I don't know how slick your table is but it looks like the wheels are pretty grippy because the car isn't drifting everywhere when you turn. This thing does look really nice!

Plantraco! Great to see those folks are still around! I have a little tank they made like 15 or so years ago that fights with IR! BEAUTIFUL CAR!

+Dave “Quad Therapy” Vale These would make great Xmas gifts! :D Coming from Amazon, you should get them within a week. :)
Many features to discover!
+Bud Kays So many features packed into such a small car. :D Great product!
That looks excellent. I see you're keeping the green one all boxed up 😀
+Dave Cooper :D

+Steve RC Hehehe :D
Awesome! Just got a brand new one on eBay for $30. Thanks for the video review!
I love the trailer. This would be a great novelty for a bar.
+Kenny Rustler Yeah, absolutely. :D
+Kenny Rustler We all know what Ryan means when he says "apple juice".
FuManBoobs lol
+FuManBoobs LMAO, dang, I didn't think my code would be so easy to break! :)~
Never knew Ryan has a iPhone... But it is good!
Awesome little RC car.
Cool little rc car

+Erwin Holland Totally agree! Ah, yes, I meant to link to the trailer... thanks for the reminder! :)
I always wanted the micro butterfly from them. It would be awesome if you reviewed it. Great video as always thanks
+Cr125stin I've looked at their planes so many times, and am constantly impressed. But, I think they are still a bit too big/fast to fly in my small house, but then too small to fly outdoors unless you have no wind at all. +TrueHoodEnt Hahaha thanks! :)
I am sorry Lucas what i meant was the app cost money to develop not to actually download that contributes to why the little car cost alot of money is the development of the app
+Paul Santora Yep. :)
P.J. R.C. helicopter lover I
you should fly one of their (plantracos) classroom fighters or the 6 inch bf 109 or spitfire. they are $150 though.
+Lmao Lmoo I have considered them, and am intrigued by them, but they are still too fast to be flown in a house, and I don't have a larger indoor area to fly them. What a cute little car. Looks like fun! Your description say RTF lol should say RTR? =P
+TOJO RC LOL yep, force of habit. :)~
Flyin' Ryan RC =D
So Cool! Nice setup for the run!
+JC Quadcopters Thanks! :)
sick little car. could u do a review on the hotwheels nitro
Pretty cool mini-car!! :)
One of the funniest reviews of you that I saw. LOL.
+Matheus Silva Glad you enjoyed it. :)
That's awesome! Do they have different body styles like Vw bug?
+John Kolar There is an SUV version, but that's it.
great vid :)
cam you do a vid of the UDI 818S
+Josh Davis Yep, I will be reviewing that soon.
ok thanks
+Josh Davis one more thing i am looking for a second Quad i have the hubsan x4 h107d. i am looking for something with a decent/good camera. (doesn't need to be fpv)
+Josh Davis do you have a recommendation. -i don't have a budget
Josh Davis Maybe the Syma X5C (decent camera, and a bit bigger than the H107D) or X8G (good camera, large quad)?
haha cool little bar tender, it should come with a bottle of apple juice
You should review the micro rover from plantraco, It looks pretty cool and that lap timer looks like a great idea! Great review, however I hate watching your vids sometimes as I know you will change my mind on what RC I want lol! ;)
+X-FLIGHT101 I just looked up the Micro Rover... pretty neat! I'll have to consider it. :) LOL, sorry about making you want RCs. :)~
+Flyin' Ryan RC haha no worries, but I still have no idea if I should get the 200qx or Apache! Hard decisions lol ;)

Flyin' Ryan RC Unluckily Amazon does not send too Europe there is a Amazon in Germany but the price is a lot more around $75
"Almost spilled my Apple juice" -flyen Ryan 2015

+Infamous Blader I believe so. I would imagine the V686 has the port to plug the FPV camera into. :)
+Flyin' Ryan RC Thanks! :)
Wish it had this many features on android. Only 1 interface and not even got the lap timer built in. App was last updated in 2013... great. 😭
two quick questions, can the steering be trimmed and what are the tires made of? it looks like its got plenty of grip
+Vixen Timer Yes it has trim. The tires are some sort of rubber. Plenty of grip. :)
Funny car to play around with my cats :)
+Flyin' Ryan RC Ok man cheers
+Flyin' Ryan RC how many D's Zen cars did you get
+Monkeyboygilis Just two. :)
could you maybe do a give away on one of those
Monkeyboygilis No, I don't do giveaways.
hey Ryan,I have an very important question I want to ask you.I have the hexacopter brand(w609-10) and when I charge the battery,it didn't show the red light from the charger chord. how to fix it? is it the battery problem or the charging chord? this is very important.I saw you did fyl and review on this brand so I think you can help me out thanks.
+Punch Everything 22 If the LED on the charger is not working, you need to replace the charger.
+Flyin' Ryan RC ohh thanks!!!
There's little glass cups that you can fill with.. I don know juice... Vodka..
Lol yes yes back to the future. what a movie your sooooo right.
Very interesting product indeed. thanks
+Multirotor Go Now Plantraco just needs to get into the Nano Quad business. :D
+Flyin' Ryan RC they have nano planes. If that is good enough.
Juice? I'm not sure what juice you are drinking but I'm pretty sure it's likely not for juice Ryan ;). You forgot to mention about yaw rate too? haha :). Great review as always.
fling ryan, how fast is it
I think I covered that quite clearly in the review. ;)
what quad copter do you recomend that is not pricy
Hi Ryan I have a question I noticed that you have 2 So can you drive multiple cars at the same time is there any interference I would imagine not since the remote is a smart phone but I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed so I had 2 ask
+Dave “Quad Therapy” Vale Since they connect via Bluetooth, they will only connect with the phone you pair them to. So yep, you can run several at the same time and not worry about interference. :)
Thanks and sorry for such a stupid question
Thanks and sorry for such a stupid question
+Dave “Quad Therapy” Vale It's not a stupid question if you don't know the answer. That's why it's a question :P
+Dave “Quad Therapy” Vale Yep, as Meteor Shower said, not a stupid question at all! :)
nice vid .... can i have the green one i really want it
How about Remote Control MOTO TC Monster Truck for iPhone or iPod-sealed
Ryan that car is on awesome but I think $50 is a lot of money even though it is a precision car and like you said its not one of those cars in a can. I just think the price tag is a little stiff. now another thing if you said that car is a couple years old I can't wait to see what their future cars would look like are they going to be smaller? are they going to be faster? are they going to be more precise? nobody knows. but it's always good to see your reviews I love your reviews they're pretty accurate just keep them coming buddy alright Ryan you're the best.

+Flyin' Ryan RC I hear they gave their 2015 version a hover conversion.
FuManBoobs Ah, just like Back To The Future predicted! ;)~
"Holy cow Batman" its a micro Nissan Juke , jk lol... Hi Ryan, whats the range like?
+Chill LOL it kinda does look like that! I thought it also kind of looks like my Infiniti G35 (but not as cool, lol). Hmmm, I never tested range, since this is sort of meant as a desktop driver, and with as slow as it is, I just don't think you'd ever have much reason to drive this far away from yourself.
Do they come with a normal joystick.
wuld it have enuff power to some how get it to drift if you put something slick on the tiers
+Me G Doubt it.
Did you have the micro rover?
+Cr125stin I'm not sure what that is?
+Cr125stin Ah, I just found it on their site. Hmm, might have to buy one. lol
when do you will get the cherson cx22
+stunt kids cool Hopefully soon... we'll see!
Is threr other rc like that that have light like that
very good anything good of this size nowadays bros?
Does the trailer come with it?
I'm pretty sure I covered that in the review... it is sold separately.
No way this is a Canadian company i would of never knew that. I love anything Canadian lol. how do you know its Canadian? well the cars aren't made there obviously more like China but they are developed and designed in Canada? and the App cost money too.
+Lucas Lucas It's also free on iOS too.
No freaking way thats awesome.
+Paul Santora The app itself is free to the user, but I meant that the app cost the company money to develop, so that is accounted for in the price of the vehicle. And yep, the company is in Canada... you can see here in their contact info: www.microflight.com/Contact-Us
wow that's cool!
+TheBigb1973 Pretty impressive tech for such a small car! :)
+Flyin' Ryan RC yep! ill be getting my son one for xmas. thanks bud!
Does it work with android?
I believe so.
NotaHipster If you have a Bluetooth connection, then yes
Is it 2wd?
+Amber Rose Yeah
Why someone has not tryed to make an hobby-grade controller that is Bluetooth compatibile?
You actually don't smash your phone screen by trying to keep your finger on the pad
I'm not sure there would really be much of a market for that. But you can get game controllers that connect to a phone, which would give you something more like an actual controller experience.
Comparing the speed of this car to the car in a box.approx how much diffrence
+Moosa Zeeshan This is pretty slow. This car is more about precision than speed.
ive seen potatoes that drive faster than this but is still a fun little car!
