If you build it they will come, to satisfy some who question the purpose. I've been fortunate enough to see every stage of this project and how it's coming to reality and even I am impressed.
This will put us back at the forefront of player development.
Once again Pro Teams and others will be flocking to Lincoln to see what we are doing. The magic wand has been waved....the word is out.....don't poke a sleeping giant once to often ! ....well the giant is awake now.....I want all those who have piled the crap on us for so long to remember.....you sob's asked for it.....don't come crying when you get it cause there will be no sympathy.....no mercy.....

Husker basketball built a first class building. How has that worked out? I echo the comment that we used to put resources against strength and conditioning vs a playhouse for the athletes.

@@lanetwehous8004 Native Marylander, hence the flag, but you may be surprised to learn I've lived in Nebraska most of my adult life and am a Husker. I've toured the current facilities and have actually been onsite at the new facilities. I am continually amazed by the over the top athletic facilities being built by colleges and universities in hopes of somehow obtaining a competitive edge by enticing gifted and impressionable young athletes. That's what it's all about anyway isn't it? All I'm saying is I'll take a kid who can tackle but has to open his locker with a combination lock over a kid who can't tackle but can open his locker with his rentina. Go Huskers!

Never should have been built in that location. It should have gone across the street West in that big old parking lot rather than tearing out the track.
Oh riight that is parking for boosters, screw outdoor track, boosters mean more. Just another example of the corrupt nature of college athletics.
Oh and they built alot of these things again already in the North expansion. So they are rebuilding the same thing over again.
It is a repeating boondoggle. In a few years they'll want to build a whole new one again. And people will be suckers and donate again to it.
