The Avalon Magic inspiration cards are another small deck where each card has a different image with the messages on the card backs. A very pretty deck. 🙂
I don't much use oracle or affirmation decks, but I absolutely love the Forest Fae. The images are so enchanting. I was trying to find a kitten that was hiding and got a message "follow the secret signs as treasures can be found where you least expect them." Found her in a drawer she'd gotten into from a small opening behind a bathroom vanity. Thanks, Fae... :)
I love these little decks… gotta say I think you’d like Divine doors different door on each card… one for you.. WALKABOUT: You discover your path in sacred walkabout the trees are your people the earth is your tribe In indigenous lessons you will find the will to survive PS: some of the cards on the bottom after the message will say 🔸pass this card on🔸 Or 🔸have faith and breathe🔸 etc…
I don't have Secret Garden, so it is so nice to learn more about that one! I had some profound experiences with Divine Doors a little over 2 years ago, as my father was declining and dying in hospital. I would definitely recommend it, and I bought it originally because of its lovely and varied photos depicting many kinds of doors!
Such a helpful video - thank you so much, Katey! The Fairy deck has gone on my wishlist. I haven't had a chance to read all the comments, someone possibly has told you about Divine Doors. It has an image of a different door on the front, and a different message on the back. I don't remember where I found this idea, but I saw a video recommendation about using the Divine Doors and it's how I use the deck. I page through the deck, looking at the doors and listening to myself, and I choose one door I feel antipathy about and one door I feel excited about or drawn. This pair of doors gives me an idea of what I'm avoiding and what I'm longing for deep inside, and help me to tune into that and keep returning gently to those ideas through out the day. Thank you again!
I love my little Whispering Woods deck. The Forest Fae looks very cool also. Thanks for sharing. I really want the Devas of Creation Oracle deck but the shipping is more than I'm use to. That and The Shimmering Veil Tarot have caught my eye.
I found a couple of beautiful mini decks for you to check out. They have different beautiful artwork on each card with lovely messages on the other side. The decks are very feminine and you really connect to them. Both are by Akal Pritam. The first is "Inspired By Frida" and the second is "Let Go". I'm definitely ordering them!
Good morning Katey, I could really get into decks like this because of the travel size & affordability. They don't require an extensive skillset and still render practical & healthy messages. Thank you for sharing.
There is something about these little cards that is just adorable. I don't have any of the ones you shared, but I do have Divine Doors which I enjoy. The messages don't always jive with the image, and there are a few that are indicated as "pass on" cards. But the doorways / portals are lovely, and it's good for pathworking, if that's your thing. The one I thought you would have / be most interested in is the Aboriginal Dreaming Totems by Mel Brown with art by Laura Bowen. Each card is different. Loved this. Thanks for sharing.
I have Priestess Moon's Making Magick Oracle deck, it's been redone into a little larger format with fewer cards, but I have the older one that is the same size as the ones you have. I love it, Sometimes I'll shuffle and pull for what I need and sometimes I'll look through and grab up the card I need. I'll use a marker pen to create that sigil on myself and infuse it with the intention to help me throughout the day.
I really appreciated how you included a review of these. It’s so interesting to see how decks get worked with. I also appreciate that you showed the similarities and differences between them. Many people have already mentioned a few other little decks that have different art on each card. Let Go reminds me the most of a small oracle in the same way that FF is. The other two that come to mind are Chakra Love, which have different crystals on the backs of each card, and Making Magic, which has a different sigil on each card. Despite the sameness of the art on Whispering Woods, I think it’s messages are my favorite of the three you’ve shown!
Hey Katey! I've been tempted to buy the Whispering Woods for a while now... But I had opted for the Aboriginal Dreaming Totems by Mel Brown... and I realize their messages are much deeper!! The back of each card has it's own totem image, but they follow a very specific style. So far, they do so much for my readings that I haven't been using my "regular" oracle decks ever since! 🙈 I strongly recommend that you give them a try 😊😊😊
Hi Katey. I have the Whispering Woods and the first day of each month, I pull a card to set on my four seasons altar. I purchased the Divine Doirs one too. With that one, I plan to draw a card on the first day of each month and then on the last day of the month, set it on a store shelf or out somewhere in public for someone to find :) I love these little decks. Thanks for the video.
I have the secret garden cards and bought 2 other mini decks. I just created a video about it last week. I would love to have the forest fae deck as well.
Also I was just looking on Amazon at the “mini inspiration cards” list (I guess it the name Rockpool gives to these little decks), and there are like 5 set as to be published soon. So it looks like they know these are popular and are planning some more 😊
I love to give the Whispering Woods and Secret Garden decks as gifts! I’ve found that they’re a good toe in the water for people who maybe aren’t necessarily super into cartomancy but would enjoy a daily affirmation or mindful moment. The Forest Fae deck has such cool artwork and messages and I love your idea to sit with the messages by using the cards as bookmarks…that’s brilliant! 💖
Secret Garden Forest is so cute!! My empathy for the sticky situation and having to release it. Our influence is limited but our energy can travel. Stay well!
I have the Forest Fae and find them fun and I agree they are like a small oracle deck...and I love the book mark idea. I have around 12 different little decks like these ones. I totally love the "AKAL PRITAM LET GO" and each card has a different back and they all feature females in the nature and they all read like an oracle card with such accuracy. I love them. I also have the Sea Melodies by Jessica Le ...which to me is like a little self care deck, which I love. (a mermaid deck) I have the "Daily Healing" by Inna Segal...... which are awakening your best self. I also have "the Language of Flowers by Cheralyn Darcey , which again lifts my spirits with every card I draw. Thanks Katey.....appreciate you doing this for us. Please invest in looking at some walk throughs of the above decks. As these are very special little decks. Thank you Terri
You are spot on Katey...when it comes to these affirmation minis the Forest Fae is my absolute favorite. Runner up is the Divine Doors by Andres Engracia. Stunning photos and beautiful messages. Cheers.
Yes! It's wonderful! I can't quite get over how good it is, actually! Is the Divine Doors like the Whispering Woods and Secret Garden, with the same image for each card? Or is it more like the Forest Fae with different photos for each card?
@@Onyxwaters thank you for letting me know! I may have to keep an eye out for that one then! And I can definitely see them going together well! I also really like it with the Children of Litha 😊
I have the forest one. ♥️ I also have & love the Divine Doors, Chakra Love, and (funnily enough) Let Go. All of those have different images on each card.
I’m so glad you did a walkthrough of these cards. I’ve seen them before and wondered if I’d enjoy them - and I do defiantly like them! My favorite though is the Forest Fae cards - they are very unique and so beautiful. I really liked your idea of using the card as a bookmark throughout the day:)
O This really helped me. I already have the whispering woods, but was considering getting both the secret garden and the forrest fae as well. Now I’ll probably just get the forrest Fae, because of how little variation the secret garden cards has - I’ll probably keep reaching for the whispering woods over that anyway.
What a wonderbubble video! I love your timing for doing this video. I've had the WW and FF decks for a while now, and just last week acquired the SG. WW is my favorite, but I love them all. I use them as a trio, and even tho there are some similarities between WW and SG, the energies are different enough for me to work with both at the same time. This video confirms I made the right choice in combining them. I love synchronicity!
I adore the Forest Fae deck - it's definitely my favourite of the minis 💚 Nadine Turner (wayward harper) has some artworks at the Leaf Studio in Kallista (Dandenong ranges) along with some other local artists 🌿
The forest fae is a lovely deck. I have been keeping an eye out for it for sometime now. Amazon India doesn't have it in stock. It looks really pretty and I love the artwork on it. Plus the fact that it's vertical makes it even more appealing 😁There are 2 other similar decks that I know of; star seeds and divine doors. Both are from Rockpool.
Lol so it appears the universe is telling me to “let go” as well. Every time I go tarot or Oracle spread or watch a UA-cam video I hear those two words “let go”. Only just this morning I woke up and asked the universe “are telling me to let go?” Then hear it here (in one of my happy places). Me thinks the universe has doth given me an instruction 😂. That fea deck is stunning and so alluring 😍. Thanks for sharing gorgeous😊🌸
These are all super cute! I bought the Let Go by Akal Pritam mini affirmation deck by Rockpool and was really disappointed. It looks like they were drawn on wood which just really ruined the aesthetic for me.
Hello Katey I got the secret Garden hoping it was like the Forest Fae and was a little disappointed. it has been i the back of my mind to use it as an addition to tarot or Oracle readings.
What about using the business card size? I fiddled around with an oracle deck in that size for myself, but I never finished all the artwork and such and it kind of stalled. But I think the business card size option might be a great one!
@@Lauri_Tarot @Lauri_Tarot The closest size MakePlayingCards has to these are the "Domino Cards" size, which I'm considering. But one of the charming bits about these mini cards is the box they come in, and MPC only has a tuck box as an option, bummer. I've made custom cards on MPC before that turned out great (a couple Lenormand decks). :-) I was hoping to create some in this exact size, but I might have to just settle for the domino size lol.
Just a good old flip through/review video today… but three times over! I hope you’re enjoying the extra content so far! 😘 xx
