Hello! I saw your team at regionals, and I love the theme your team had and the fun little things you do! The animation looks high quality. What program did you use?
Awesome you saw us! To answer your question we used Blender to choreograph and render the animations while the models were imported in from Fusion 360.
How do you tackle the suspension problem in a holonomic fwd
Whenever we build a fwd without suspension, we face traction problems because three wheels are always in contact but the fourth one doesnt always stay in contact because if bends in the chassis
If you guys do implement suspension in your bots, then can you tell me how?
We do not use suspension on our bots, but we have found that some motors have an offset axle and rotating the motor in the mount would adjust the wheels height. If the motors you have do not have offset axles and the chassis is bent you can use shims to adjust the height. It also helps to make the weight distribution even. Hope this answers your questions.
Great video! Very well explained and great animations. I look forward to the rest of the series.
Thanks a lot! We hope you enjoy the rest of the series!
Thank you!
Good work. Keep it up
