My sentiment exactly 💯 my beard seemingly reacts best with light to medium viscosity although I do add Jamaican castor oil to all blends because for some reason it makes my beard flow more natural. I have added this company to my list based on this Dan c review and subscriber feedback. 👍

Hi Dan. Your beard is looking on point today! Maybe it's the hemisqualine oil. I have 3 Johnnie Ray oils; Genesis, Vice, and a Mystery oil. I don't believe they have the semisqualine oil, but they are among my favorite oils for the way they work in my beard. While none of them rank close to my favorite scent, they are probably some of the best oils I've ever used.

Love this new Essentials Oil Line! This may be the BEST feel in beard I've experienced! And the scents are spectacular! Sleeping Bear and Grand Blanc are my two favs in this collection! And that's surprising cause I HATE MINT but the mint in Grand Blanc fades so quickly and that Grapefruit comes in and, wooooo buddy, I'm in heaven!! 😅 Love it!!
Oh and I totally thought there was Lavender in the Sleeping Bear oil until I went to the website to research for my writeup for the FB Group and I was like "Wait, where's the Lavender?" Lol sooo smooth and soo good!!
Very interesting!! I’m really curious about this new thin oil! All the carrier oil ingredients look amazingly cool, and I’m really glad to see no FCO so I can try it! 🙌 Also, this new pump top is really unique! The straw on the other pump tops is the reason why I don’t use them, the oils will still separate in the tube, just like in your normal dropper top, but you kinda have to “waist” a pump with the ones with the straw. This new design completely eliminates that! Sooo freakin cool!! All the scents sound really nice too, the woodsy one and the minty one sound really good to me! Awesome job Dan! 👊🤘

I am loving the Hemisqualane so much that it may become an option down the road for our Main line fragrances and Rhapsody Collection, but fwiw I was in camp “fragrance oil” too until I started using Essential Oil blends at night. Now, I can really say that EO’s are my preference, but it’s a good 70-30 mix still! 🔥

Rotating oils taught me my beard likes light oils. Very intriguing company! A group of fruit (or nut) trees, or the land for their cultivation, is an “Orchard”! No farming there!

I've loved everything I've gotten from Johnnie Ray. I got a sample box of oils and the Maestro scent from the Rhapsody collection. All were great. Their butter is insane and the balm is the best I've tried and it's my go to for the humid climate I live in. My favorite scent from their regular line is Embark. I can't wait to give these a shot with the new oil in them.
Very very intriguing!! Though I’m sure it’s not the best for styling a gray beard it does sound very healthy for my beard and might have to be in my rotation. DanC you’ve told me that a light viscosity oil would benefit me in the high humidity of Arkansas so I may have to try it. Petoskey is such a good one! I know Dan said it was a simple Cutrus, but ironically it is the most layered scent we have in this line! 4 different Citrus Essential Oils blended together to create a lovely simple citrus. 🙌

Petoskey is such a good one! I know Dan said it was a simple Cutrus, but ironically it is the most layered scent we have in this line! 4 different Citrus Essential Oils blended together to create a lovely simple citrus. 🙌
Love the essential line. Petoskey actually smells like fresh orange juice to me, but I'd give Isle Royale my favorite of the bunch. Johnnie Ray has been my go-to company for quite awhile now. Looking forward to hanging out with yall soon!

Congrats on the collab line! Excellent work 👍👍👏 the feel in beard is definitely different, light yet nourishing. I like the Petoskey and Isle Royal scents the most 👍 I would be super interested to see what some of the original scents or Rhapsody collection would be like with the new oil blend 🤔😀

This line is as thin as it gets, yes!
This line is really a LOT lighter than what I realize, especially when I go back to our other blend and it feels even thicker than it ever did! 🙌
