Mark, I think if you turn on/off GPS lock, the camera will stop/start pointing in one direction. Maybe that will help you. I have one Q for you: I'm assuming you have 6.2.2. on your android phone, can you confirm that GoPro has NOT enabled transition easing between keyframe points? I'm waiting to purchase a Max until they add that.
@@MarkLewisfitness on pc desktop max exporter, it's called world lock. No option on android app in over capture(stabilization turns on by default), but 360 export on android can turn off stabilization. No idea on apple. Be sure to be on max latest f/w , bad bug in gyro sensor values written to file (my understanding)

Of course, my old Android phone won't load the footage in the editor, just sits and spins. Looking at an iPad for editing...thoughts? I think I small video talking about your workflow might be very popular. Talk about the PC Desktop Max Exporter...I'm unclear how you are using that and would love to know more.
@@marksmolen7344 How old of Android? I got a Galaxy Note10+ with 512GB ($999) and 1TB SD card ($199) over black friday week. My note 8 with 64GB could only had a few recordings. I'm using Pinnacle Studio 23 Ultimate ($80 best sale price)..handles Cineform finally. Overcapture appears a little odd at times, I need to try again. It just doesn't look right perspective wise. The other downside is tiny planet/rabbit hole stuff is only in 1:1 format. The v23 doesn't appear to crash as much as it used to, has LUT capability. But I guess if you are really serious, you would use Adobe with the GoPro reframe plugin.
@@z352kdaf8324 I've got Motorola moto G5Plus running 8.1.0. It's coming up on two years of age. Just spoke with GoPro, I'll likely buy a used MacBook Pro for editing. I'd rather edit on a laptop and I seriously doubt if GoPro will ever release their Windows editing software.
not sure if you find a solution? one is grow taller, two is wear platform shoes, the third is to use a kick technique, where you run at the wall and 'kick' off the wall to boost yourself up to be able to get a grip on top and then pull a leg over the top: ua-cam.com/video/MHWBMQLVPQQ/v-deo.html is an example
Makes me feel tired watching you run Mark. I like your channel, makes me think. Like you I'm intrigued by the Max and its use on a motorcycle. As you've pointed out in your previous film it's a challenge working out where to place the camera to get the full 360 but preserve safety. I think I'll commit to buying one and then try to work out the best fit.

This is random but can I just ask how bad the sewerage smell is? How often is it bad? Does it smell Inside the stadium or just outside ? Sorry I keept hearing about it and I'm just rlly worried it'll be bad during a concert in July 😔

the newest android app has more transitioning options on android.
