It kind of feels like a psychological thriller episode. Everything seems normal and what you expect but for a few small details that makes you feel like something isn't right.
Right like the tengen barriers being on a timer, kenjaku potentially returning, and the curse user at the end, all having to be explained in one more chapter
@@jonarhax3388 I don't see why the barriers would need to be further explained next chapter. What remains of Tengen is holding them up for now and unless we get a major timeskip they won't be something that needs to be dealt with for a while.
To add onto the kenjaku thing, Its actually a common trope for comedian style characters in japanese media, if they lose their main comedic partner either by death or breaking up, which we would consider kenjaku, its very common that these characters will find someone that looks or acts like their lost partner, I dont know exactly why but I see it ALOT
Ty for this explaination, it makes sense. It would explain why we don't see his face, it doesn't matter just takaba has kept on comedy and found a new partner
@@PaintSplashProductions Its would literally ruin the series lmao. The shinjuku showdown would go down as one of the worst arcs in history if even Gojo comes back. Heck its already down there with MHA's final arc and the 4th grade ninja war for me personally
the only way i could think is was all a dream would be it would be something like yuji got sukuna back into him and this was his dream while he was dying while taking sukuna out with him, an idealized world in yujis head I guess where everything ended up right
@@Roquelaure2.0 I mean I could see that happening, but it doesn’t seem like yuji to include himself in that world, being the usually selfless person he is, inserting himself into these scenarios seems weird for his character.
The Gojo ignorance is legit getting so weird now, like, Shoko visits Toji's grave but not Gojo's, and who TF sent that message to them after which she decided not to smoke, Gege what are you cooking?!
Y'all saying its Tsumiki's not Toji's but it didnt have a name in it,just "Fushiguro Family",for all the name says it would most likely to be both + Megumi's mom
@@apenasosky2521 Well then apparently just a secret grave for Toji this whole time that Megumi just now saw because he couldn't know about it before, just learning about Toji's death. But there are only 2 parts to the grave headstone making it seem like it might just be 2 people, so maybe just the mom and sister. We also know granny in Shibuya went grave robbing for Toji.
271 starts and shows sukuna trapped inside gojo's infinite void, then gojo says "yowai mo" and kills sukuna. chapter ends, manga ends, hire me shonen jump.
people say dont cope, but then the mangaka himself is the one stretching this one out. Gege is the one that doesnt let Gojo die because as you mention, if he was dead there is no way in hell the characters wouldnt talk about him or even show a grave. Hes doing this shit on purpose to keep us locked in and the conversation going and generating hype
I completely agree! However I also believe he does it purely out of spite for Gojo fans just because he doesn't like him so much. So yes all of those hints are deliberate but only to make you more dissapointed
There is just NO way the final chapter comes in and it's just a normal ending without some sort of twist, esp surrounding Gojo. This actually isn't cope, why tf would Gege put in ALL these very obvious hints to something, with no follow up? Like the "dream" lines being present and the clock time and all those other Gojo hints. It just wouldn't make sense to put all that in and have some lukewarm ending without any resolution to all that blatant foreshadowing of something. Either he comes back or it's like other people have been saying, it'll be a "it was all a dream." moment, with Gojo/Yuji waking up 1 last time before being killed by Sukuna. If none of that happens, then this is just... a bad manga lol.
Sorry? but chapter 268 literally ends with the letters that gojo wanted his students to read after he died. I understand saying that the group could have reacted better to the death of their teacher, but Gege didn't even make Gojo react properly with Sukuna possessing Megumi and Nobara having "died".
I think I understand why this ending is so weird. Normally when a story ends the author ends it with a new status quo having been formed, but Gege is leaving the story right when the new status quo is still in the process of forming with the Barriers of Japan collapsing, the whole world knowing about Cursed Energy and the US Army thing, which ends up leaving this feeling of lack of closure. It's as if Naruto had ended right after Kaguya was defeated and everyone was still trapped in the Divine Tree
it's more like, Kaguya was defeated and we never learned what Black Zetsu was, who the Six Paths sage was, and Kakashi died but nobody said anything about it.
this is precisely why i think theres a part 2 coming. You cant just introduce even more plot points, and have 1 last mission explored in the last 3 chapters if you arent also leading to a continuation of the series.
For such an emotionally intelligent series, we don’t see the cast mourn very meaningfully their losses. We got the letters from Gojo but we never saw the cast come to terms with the events of the last few chapters. We haven’t seen them come to terms with Gojo’s death or even the new realities of Sukuna and Kenjaku’s defeat. We just see glimpses into those lives, not how they came to be
You make a very interesting point that about seeing the cast mourn their losses. We never really got to see Yuji, nor anyone really, mourn the loss of Nanami. The end of the Shibuya Arc was Yuji continuing to get after it and kill curses, then were jumping right into the Culling Games. So maybe that is the piece we’re forgetting. They’ve never really been able to grieve the loss of anyone and the only time we saw any sort of grievance was when Yuji was thought to be dead by Sukuna’s hands. Megumi and Nobara were sulking, Gojo was processing the loss of his student but didn’t really give up hope. So it is very interesting that we haven’t seen anything like that since.
Exactly and we have glazers like Hundred always trying to excuse it by saying “it’s a fast pace series, we don’t have time for that crap hurr durr writing 101” or some shit like that
no matter what happens, I hope the last chapter is satisfying. Also, Im gonna miss these leak days. I have loved waking up on Thursday mornings and pulling up UA-cam first thing to see your react vids lol
Another thing that kinda irks me is that Gojo killed the higher ups right? And the story SHOULD show a world of jujitsu collectivism right? So why are we back with the trio taking missions? Why are there even the higher ups, what’s the whole point to get rid of the system? Even better, the strongest characters alive now are Yuta, Yuji, and Megumi (?), why are THEY taking orders? I could forgive people not necessarily grieving Gojo’s death, cuz frankly nobody ever really gieves anybody’s death in jjk, they acknowledge it happens and moves on. What is wild is not implementing Gojo’s vision well into this new world. The strongest is dead, the higher ups got massacred, the clans are about to have a gang war and we in the status quo?? Nah.
@@jean-jacquesfrancais6589Megumi might be a bum, but he likely still picked upon many stuff from Sukuna while he was his Vessel. Only thing that's missing in his Arsenal is Mahoraga, who he had not tamed himself yet. Maybe he will combine Max Elephant and Nue to drop an electric Nuke on Mahoraga to one shot him lmao
@@Generalmituna8079 I don't think Megumi absorbed Tengen, Tengen "fell out" when Sukuna lost Megumi's body so I think it was just Sukuna. Basically inside of Sukuna but still outside of Megumi.
Something is wrong here, something is gonna happen, this must be buildup to something I’m ready to edit my comment next week when it’s revealed that Gege deadass just forgot about Gojo and ends the manga as normal.
Yep. I think we have enough evidence to be confident that there is no plan, no secret, nothing to expect. Gojo may well never be mentioned again now that the next chapter will cover a new case. We'll never know what was up with Takaba. This was it, game over. But I'm with you man. I'll also edit this comment if I'm wrong. I hope I am.
Usually, I’m pretty optimistic and tend to say the chapters were good, even after thinking about them more, but this one left me feeling confused and kind of mystified. I’m glad we got to see some loose ends tied up, like with the sugar guy, even though it wasn’t really necessary, but the chapter overall just felt off. Gege has said for a while that he already had the ending planned, but now I’m not so sure if we’re going to get a satisfying ending based on this chapter. Who knows though, maybe we’ll end up getting a Jujutsu Kaisen Shippuden-type thing, lol.
I'd bet my bottom dollar Gege hates writing JJK anyways since he wanted it to be a horror manga from the start before Shonen Jump made him make it a more standard action series. He probably just wants it to be over and done with so he can move on and make stuff he actually wants to do.
This isn’t how the word is used but this chapter feels uncanny valley like you said this is exactly how is expect it to end…but something just feels off? Not quite right
would make sense if all of this was gojo's dream because: -Despite being the most popular character, the only mentions of gojo were the letters, which are likely stuff that gojo wanted to tell his students before he died, but he wanted his students to move on from him, so thats why there were no further mentions of himself. -it shows the future generation of sorcerers prospering like was his dream -the line "Now I'm hoping this all wasn't a dream" was said by Gojo -the title of the chapter being "Dream's End" (this specific piece of evidence doesn't specifically confirm Gojo, but just that what we are seeing a dream by someone). -This is just a theory, but maybe the reason the kenjaku stitches could be being blocked because when we see his full face, we will see that it shows him without the stitches, and that will reveal it as being Geto(who is obviously dead), which will be the reveal that this is all a dream from Gojo dreaming a better future.
You missed Kusakabe blaming Gojo for everything because they didn't kill Yuji. Two instances of mentioning Gojo is still pretty weird, though. I think Gojo does tie into what is happening, but maybe not him being alive or coming back. I wonder if there's a chance that the new plasma star vessel or six eyes coming back.
@@kylesmith7413 i feel like thats just it Gojo is dreaming of a better future and kusakabe blaming gojo for everything is maybe yuji lost in reality. and they all ended up dying, maybe the merger happened and this is why they are in this "dream"
I totally agree, it's almost difficult to go this long without mentioning the sadness of Gojo's death or missing him or SOMETHING. It takes far greater effort to not mention it thus far than to just throw in a quick line of "I can't believe Gojo is gone". He's coming back fam I won't give this up
at this point, Im not surprised and out of copium. This is the same manga whose cast barely mention Nanami's death or Maki killing the Zenin Clan Gege's done with Gojo, his bodys in the trash somewhere
‘The end of the dream’ reminds me of the Gilgamesh quote “all dreams end when the dreamer awakens” because of the way they use the meaning of the word ‘dream’ as a kind of goal or aspiration that a person wants to achieve, but twists this back into the regular meaning of 'something you see when asleep'. and if it’s in reference to Gojos ‘dream’ specifically maybe it’s Gojo literally waking up from death if that makes sense as a comparison
I definitely felt the abscense of Gojo being talked about. He made a huge sacrifice for everyone and gave a legendary fight, and he is also the guy everyone in the series roots for against sukuna. For him to be just forgotten just like that feels really strange and I don’t think it’s unintentional. Gege is cooking something I’m just not sure what.
The illusion theory definitely holds: "Chapter 271 starts with Yuji waking up after his domain clash wondering what happened. He comments on how blissful his dream was then looking around, sees the entirety of Japan completely destroyed and the merger beast towering and almost covering in the sky. Yuji realizes that Sukuna has activated the merger. He starts calling out for others to see whos still alive. Just then Sukuna answers Yuji and asks him to marvel at the works that hes done, what hes accomplished and how beautiful everything is. He then mentions to Yuji how absurd he is for thinking he could beat him with such an immature and underdeveloped domain expansion, but also impressed that he survived him for so long. Dialogue will be around Yuji and Sukuna with Sukuna challenging him on Yujis reasoning for fighting this long....ill stop there. At that point, if things developed from there in the next chapter, thats fine with me.
@jean-jacquesfrancais6589 character death for the sake of character death is not good writing. No conclusion to character arcs, no conslusion to actual narrative themes, no character send offs. "And then everyone died lol the end" is even worse then "It was all a dream" although op somehow managed to combine the two
I think I'm going to miss these times. Every week, I look forward to the Managanimist dropping a new video about leaks, reading through the comments, and seeing all the debates about whether Gojo will come back or not. Theorizing about the series has been a lot of fun, and it really makes me feel like I'm part of the community.
Gege maybe stringing people along with Gojo this whole time, but it might not have good pay off to it like people want (for the copers that want a comeback). Maybe a cruel way as a troll to keep people reading until the end.
I’m telling you right now, the last page of the next chapter is going to be a new born opening there eyes revealing the new 6 eyes user. Maybe not with limitless sense that only happens every 500 years but since there are no big threats anymore that type of power isn’t needed.
I think it's more likely that 6 eyes users won't be born anymore, after all the power was linked to the star plasma vessel and tengen, link which was explicitly severed by toji
I literally had this exact thought! I forgot what video of his I commented on, but it was a whole ass rant based on JJK 2 being based on the team nurturing and raising a new Six Eyes/Limitless user that would help bring back some order to the new fragmented world. The time progression would obviously have to occur as we see the new Gojo grow, but they wouldn’t be anywhere near the expectation and fall short a lot during battle. Yuta would be there for direct support for them since he has used the Six Eyes/Limitless before, often reassuring them that they’re doing their best and that’s what matters. Things would come to a head when the new big bad comes in and kills off one of the main JJK 1 characters (Yuta being the forefront idea), this causing the new Gojo to actually awaken without the need for dying, and cast a domain expansion that most would think be Infinite Void but would turn out not to be, but be equally effective
i just wanna say, i really really enjoyed your videos and all the journey we jjk fans have been thru. just to admit something, i didnt know about jjk until i saw a crunchyroll trailer for it so id figure eh why not. it's a new gen anime like aot and demon slayer so why not. at first, i ddint think much of it after finishing s1. i thought, so basically bleach, and somewhat naruto what with techniques. then while at work, i just had this itch to know how gojo will get sealed so i spoiled myself and googled it and saw that panel with gojo trapped by kenjaku. so i read shibuya and omfg it was peaked. my expectations flew pass the moon and since then ive been on the hype train for it. jjk was the new gen anime for me. just something about it just made me love it. cant believe next sunday itll end :( hopefully gege delivers more jjk content.
I really am not a fan of 270. Like, I was a defender of 269, but it just doesn’t make sense to me that they would introduce all this shit about the simple domain cult and the potential war between the kamo and Gojo clans and then just not expand on it? Like it’s already kind wild to introduce all that in the 3rd to last chapter, but you’re telling me they’re just not even gonna expand on it in the 2nd to last chapter?
Gege has to know what he’s doing like no way he just doesn’t address gojo at all in this last chapter. Whoever this mysterious presence is is gonna be the key I pray it’s not some bullshit pls, especially that fake out dream shit. Let’s leave infinite tysukoyomi in Naruto
I had a thought earlier that Gojo being alive again wouldn't just be fan service it would actually fit his character. It's fine if he stays dead, but his whole goal was to raise a new generation to take over from the old generation, and he's only had this trio for like 4 months. He's had his break from being the strongest, he caught up to Geto and more than a chance to mourn he got to TALK to him again in person, now he can finally, FINALLY, move on with his life. He doesn't have to be caught up in the past anymore, dreaming about it every day and wishing he could go back - he can finally go forward, become someone new, and focus on his goal for the future - completing Yuji, Megumi and Nobara's first year of official training.
This is gojo's ending, Jutsu ruled is now free of the old. Kenjaku's, Geto's, Yuki's, vision of the world lost. This is just building that up and showing the outcome.
Regardless of how the final chapter raps stuff up, im glad to have found this wonderful community, been quite the ride every Wednesday/Thursday night waiting on leaks and interacting with the community and having a great time, I'm going to miss it honestly
What Gege is doing with Gojo is very reminiscent of what he did with Nobara. But unlike Nobara, where one single line by Nitta deliberately made it necessary for Nobara to be alive (otherwise confirming her death outright would have been a far better writing choice), Gojo does not have anything like that. Personally I was not a big fan of how Nobara's return was handled. I had zero doubts after reading the Shibuya arc that Nobara will be back, but it felt like Gege just chose to not bring up the conversation regarding her status so that the readers would forget and her return would have the maximum surprise element. Hope nothing like that happens with Gojo. If he returns, I want it to be well executed. Clock hands and stuff are good meta foreshadowing, but I will need something more substantial.
I am convinced there will be a series 2. Also End of the Dream could mean Takaba coming back to reality and bringing Kenjaku with him (or, Kenjaku’s body which is just Geto 👀).
My theory. Next chapter Megumi is gonna wake up in the hospital, months later. Turns out he was in a coma this whole time due to the effects of unlimited void. All the story we’ve been getting has literally been an information dump of what could’ve happened if Gojo lost. But it turns out Gojo actually beat Sukuna and none of this ever happened.
cool theory, but it would really diminish all the story setup for yuji v sukuna and yuji saving megumi, it would all be for nothing since it didnt happen.
Here’s how I see it: Gege is either gonna talk about Gojo in the next chapter which is the last, or have some crazy cliffhanger on Gojo setting up the sequel. But the thing is Yuji is already ridding all the curses so like I don’t know man.
There is just something so bizzare after these few chapters. Something’s wrong and its terrifying. I have a feeling that ‘cursed user’ is something very very bad.
Hear me out, what if Yuji’s domain didn’t finish and after Sakuna refused Yuji’s offer, he showed Sakuna the future that would be through the domain and we will go back right after that question again when they talk?
Chapter 270 end be like: yeah it wad all a dream everything from 237 to 270 was a dream 😂😂😂 and gege and shonen will be like tune in next tear for jjk part 2 and the new world kenjaku and Sukuna created i would love it
Its the uncanny valley feeling. Without even a mention of Satoru it feels like things are off because what happened to his body after they peeled Yuta off the ground? She would have had to cremate it since he's a sorcerer right? Did she? No one knows. No one says anything. It feels like everything is just off a bit to the left without even a 'yeah sucks Satoru is dead. Welp.'
Can’t help but notice what appears to me as an uneasiness and a building tension in the background of all these “happy” moments. I don’t trust you Gege….
It was a dream and it's ending next chapter. let's go back a few chapters before: Yuji lost in his domain because Nobara didn't hit a frame perfect resonance, Sukuna killed everyone, they are in heaven and they're not talking about Gojo because they've already been reunited. You're welcome.
No its its just that everybody's dead and the merger will start started The chapter title is yumeno's end(dreams end) The Japanese Fandom calls the trio yumeno(yu_yuji,me_megumi,no_nobara) It's either the curse user is the person sukuna spoke about in ch222 when he ate his corpse and he is going kill the trio or maybe this was a dream who knows gege loves trolling and he probably saved biggest one for the end
personally this is just the way he writes. there was an acknowldegement of gojo at a couple of chapters ago about the letters and i feel like that was the best way to end his story. anything more than that feels out of character for gege.
Imagine Yuji wakes up and he never left the shrine where Gojo first met him to see a what if reality , and Gojo just says “ so that’s what will happen if I keep you alive “ and just finish’s him off with a hollow purple at point blank .
Then next chapter gonna be titled "reality" where yuji and the gang do the mission but then he hears "wake up to reality, brat" and we see a sukuna just standing I. Front of yu/ji while saying "stand proud, u were annoying" and then the editor adds "this truly was sukuna's kaisen"
I been turning this over in my head for a bit and I think I have kinda came to an understanding: the merger merchants might be right. Not that it will happen but it probably should have happened. A lot of the power system, narrative beats, character motivations, and world building all tied to a simple prompt of “ what is curse energy, what is the ramifications of curse energy, and what to do about the leakage of curse energy normal people have?”. This fundamental prompt was nearly as important as the ideological meaning of the strongest, to the point that even before the merger, people said that Kenny was finna be the true final boss, not sukuna. The prompt died with Kenjaku sadly. If I was Gege I think I would have had one more story arc after the defeat of Sukuna, and had Kenny as the main villain. Maybe have Yuji finally learn the truth of his family to tie him in narratively, maybe have the merger go off, maybe make a new tengen idk something. 🤣
They haven't mentioned anything about Sukuna neither, like their thoughts on the battle, what are their feelings. Nothing, just the most random episodes I have ever seen in my life. Yuji's domain effect? Naaaada!
If its a dream : why is it so boring and plain ? nothing trippy or ethereal is happening to make it feel that way or benefit from the narrative tool of a dream, especially towards the end of a dream when your supposed to wake up. If its not a dream: Why are you introducing new characters and new story plot points? there is a lot of time being wasted Telling and not Showing the very few thing Gege is allowing us to know. If there is a sequel planed shouldn't the final chapters be more exciting to set up the new protagonists ? I get some people love this series and others love to hate it but i honestly don't understand how the editors are letting Gege do this multiple chapters in a row. They have to be begging him to include gojo, todo, yuta etc. Hes kind of IS but ISNT for anyone. Almost like a big F you to SJ for making him cancel or something. Its so freaking weird.
Either Gege is sick and is just ending it while skipping over the planned Tengen arc OR he's setting up a part 2/sequel to run in Jump+ like Chainsawman did.
Crack theory The "curse user" that was theorized at the end of the chapter made nobara's sister see her fiance with big giant eyes You know what eyes mean in jjk
I think there is a chance that this was culling game players chapter and the next one will do the same but with other ppl: hakari, kusukabe etc and this is where the main 3 will visit gojos grave or just talk about their old teacher after they are done with this "final" mission
If anyone has seen the Calisto protocol DLC ending. I’m very afraid it’s going that way where everything seems great and loving and it turns out it was all a dream. Or a fabricated reality… also 270’s chapter title was very off
The title isn't a Gojo come back hint It translates better to something like "Dream's Realization", which is likely a reference to Gojo's Dream about his student's surpassing him
It's Gojo's dream for a better world where sorcerers will never have to suffer the way he and Geto suffered, the way Yuki suffered, the way Yuji, Megumi, Nobara suffered- it's Gojo's wish that no one else has to go through the pain of being torn apart because the Jujutsu higherups deem it so- Haibara, Nanami, Gojo, Geto, Yuki, Choso- all of them died *for this*
next chapter we see Gojo in a coma on a hospital bed visited by the trio after they are done with the curse user. there's no grieving because he isn't dead (yet)
Im gonna be honest, the ending isnt rushed, but it is structured terribly, sakuna losing was a given yet it was weirdly abrupt and just segwaying into the characters doing a battle reveiw like they didn't just all get nearly killed is just. Weird to me.
1. All of a sudden its announced that jjk will end in next 5 chapters and next chapter sukuna fight will end 2. After the announcement nobara is shown alive and back as a plot convienence 3. Yuji now has domain and allegedly technique to kill sukuna after the announcement again as a plot convienence 4. After the announcement, megumi now wants to live and starts fighting back just like that once again as a plot convienence 5. Everything feels so weird and rushed Would you still say its not rushed??
@@ManmeetSingh-q4r the reason why i say not rushed is because i did expect that stuff to happen anyway tbh, but in the final 5 chapters, it could be handled way better even at that constraint
If Kenjaku were to survive, do you think Takaba had something to do with it? Since their ‘fight’ was the best comedy performance of his life, he would ABSOLUTELY find it funny if Kenjaku was still alive, since he attributes his greatest comedy routine with him. Kenjaku, with his incredibly vast intelligence, could’ve taken the route he did in that fight as a backup plan for if he died. If Kenjaku were brought back this way, how would any of that work? Would this be a satisfying way to bring back a staple villain after his frankly lackluster death?
I think the End of Dream reference is to Megumi's dream ending. He recently said his dream was for his sister to walk alongside someone like Yuji. That dream is over at the grave site in the beginning of the chapter.
Binding vows are just excuses by the author to make his characters more powerful and give them advantages and power ups from no where. Btw, Sukuna is the character to have used binding vows the most
And i just had a horrible idea what if one lives snd one dies in in reference to Gojo coming back to life but everyone else including sakuna died One side(Dead) lives, and one side (the living) dies, what if everything we are seeing is just their equivalent of a collective version of the airport scene and they all believe they're alive but this half of reality this dream that they lived happily ever after is over the end of a dream, the end of the happily ever after, the revelation of loss i can easily see gege rug pulling us by revealing that gojo came back but everyone else ultimately died as the cost and imagine the series ends with gojo just mourning the loss of everyone as his entire plan hsi goals everything has failed and worst of all his own top students had to become a monster had to become him to beat sukuna only to die for gojo to return and see everyone else dead 1 lives(Gojo) 1 dies (everyone else)
A juju sequel could also take place some years down the road. Everybody in their mid 20s we could skip a whole bunch of terror that happens… time skip throws us straight into the action now. It doesn’t have to pick off where this one ends maybe GeGe will throw in flashback or flashback arcs of what happened in between later on in the story!!! We find out later why some ppl went bad and how maybe some got killed in the flash backs of time skip … now the story can be straight action with yap sessions as flash backs lol. That’ would be cool
I feel like there's a chance that, after Sukuna says "I'm a curse" and then until this chapter, it all could be the dream. But if that's the case then Sukuna might've done something bad as last ditch effort? That means we could get a bad ending :( Again this is just a theory I'm not sure either.
I'd love it to continue tbh. I feel like Gege just sped ran things out of nowhere. Things like the Zenin clan extermination should have been a full arc not like 2 chapters. More character moments between big events to even up the serious moments. Its like Gege just jumped tot he final fight, then stretched that out waaaay too much to make it last longer. At least if we get a sequel we can just get more JJK.
Ill say it for the next week at minimum. Last segment of the last chapter is the trio back at base, they walk in to check in with a live and well Gojo. End story.
My theory is that the girl is not haunted or cursed. But instead she is the next six eyed user. And she started seeing things because her power began awakening.
@@smoothhoops3739 maybe, but gojo and yuta are distant relatives and nobody knew about yuta till rika happened. I'd love this as it would tie up a bow around the whole gojo situation. But just in a few days we will know
I think the title “dreams end” is referring to the sorcerers getting back to work. They’ve just been relaxing since the Sukuna fight or living the dream. Now it’s back to reality. I also don’t expect this to be an easy win at all. And I think we’ll see either Gojo’s grave or him standing on top of a tower like he did in the season 1 intro at the end of next chapter, and we’re gonna get a part 2
What's yalls pulse on all this?

The Gojo ignorance is legit getting so weird now, like, Shoko visits Toji's grave but not Gojo's, and who TF sent that message to them after which she decided not to smoke, Gege what are you cooking?!
It was Tsumiki's (Megumi's sister) grave, not necessarily Toji there.
As that guy said it is tsumiki not tojii
It's very obvious that it's Tsumiki's grave not Toji's.
Y'all saying its Tsumiki's not Toji's but it didnt have a name in it,just "Fushiguro Family",for all the name says it would most likely to be both + Megumi's mom

Gege is the one that doesnt let Gojo die because as you mention, if he was dead there is no way in hell the characters wouldnt talk about him or even show a grave. Hes doing this shit on purpose to keep us locked in and the conversation going and generating hype
Same shit he did with Yujo
Normally when a story ends the author ends it with a new status quo having been formed, but Gege is leaving the story right when the new status quo is still in the process of forming with the Barriers of Japan collapsing, the whole world knowing about Cursed Energy and the US Army thing, which ends up leaving this feeling of lack of closure.

this is precisely why i think theres a part 2 coming.
We just see glimpses into those lives, not how they came to be
Exactly my issue with 270. At this rate, I fear the story can not be told in a cohesive manner without a part 2 or some other kind of continuation.
We know there was a timeskip but we just don't know how long it was.

Nah.

He probably just wants it to be over and done with so he can move on and make stuff he actually wants to do.

would make sense if all of this was gojo's dream because:
-Despite being the most popular character, the only mentions of gojo were the letters, which are likely stuff that gojo wanted to tell his students before he died, but he wanted his students to move on from him, so thats why there were no further mentions of himself.
-it shows the future generation of sorcerers prospering like was his dream
-the line "Now I'm hoping this all wasn't a dream" was said by Gojo
-the title of the chapter being "Dream's End" (this specific piece of evidence doesn't specifically confirm Gojo, but just that what we are seeing a dream by someone).

Really hope we got a JJK Shippuden on the horizon
lmfao your commenter impression "just let him rest!" had me dying 🤣🤣🤣
My honest reaction to JJK 270 with a character brought back: "Who again?"
The illusion theory definitely holds:
"Chapter 271 starts with Yuji waking up after his domain clash wondering what happened.
Nope.

Let’s all hope the last chapter is a setup for JJK shippuden
@user-zz3sn8ky7z they were linked in destiny to always appear with each other. But Six eyes wouldn't stop just cause Tengen and the SPV is gone.
Last chapter is either going to be us finally saying goodbye to gojo or he’s coming back
If it was revealed its Yuji's afterlife sequence. That would be a great plot twist.
So you think yuji dies and rest live?
nah i swear if itadori wakes up and sees sukuna
i just wanna say, i really really enjoyed your videos and all the journey we jjk fans have been thru. just to admit something, i didnt know about jjk until i saw a crunchyroll trailer for it so id figure eh why not. it's a new gen anime like aot and demon slayer so why not. at first, i ddint think much of it after finishing s1. i thought, so basically bleach, and somewhat naruto what with techniques. then while at work, i just had this itch to know how gojo will get sealed so i spoiled myself and googled it and saw that panel with gojo trapped by kenjaku. so i read shibuya and omfg it was peaked. my expectations flew pass the moon and since then ive been on the hype train for it. jjk was the new gen anime for me. just something about it just made me love it. cant believe next sunday itll end :( hopefully gege delivers more jjk content.
Let’s leave infinite tysukoyomi in Naruto
still have no idea whats going on in this chapter

Kenjaku is now Takaba's Rika.
Yuji, Nobara and Megumi about to get their own ‘ Hidden Inventory ‘ Arc…
Its crazy how JJK goes from action fantasy to psychological thriller at the end of the series
L theory if gojo actually won and megumi got in a coma why would we even get this information dump?
No.
Man that would be disney
That would be a terrible ending be fr right now.

Welp.'
The absence of any of gojo’s info or sukuna’s is very wierd for sure
Can’t help but notice what appears to me as an uneasiness and a building tension in the background of all these “happy” moments. I don’t trust you Gege….
It was a dream and it's ending next chapter. let's go back a few chapters before: Yuji lost in his domain because Nobara didn't hit a frame perfect resonance, Sukuna killed everyone, they are in heaven and they're not talking about Gojo because they've already been reunited. You're welcome.
i wont make sence to visit a graveyard in heaven

This is definitely Gojo pulling a "Surprise Box" of him still being alive prank for himself just like he did for Yuji.
Right! I thought that too...
No its its just that everybody's dead and the merger will start started
The chapter title is yumeno's end(dreams end) The Japanese Fandom calls the trio yumeno(yu_yuji,me_megumi,no_nobara)
It's either the curse user is the person sukuna spoke about in ch222 when he ate his corpse and he is going kill the trio or maybe this was a dream who knows gege loves trolling and he probably saved biggest one for the end
He knows how much we love Gojo. He's doing this on purpose. 😆
personally this is just the way he writes. there was an acknowldegement of gojo at a couple of chapters ago about the letters and i feel like that was the best way to end his story. anything more than that feels out of character for gege.
Yeah honestly this all seems just...wrong
The absence of gojo and yuta really of that last chapter.
Naaaada!
Yuji's domain had soul dismantles. But that's all we know and doesn't have a name.
Yujis domain was Shrine but it damage the soul not the body. Which is why he was able to connect to Sukuna in that dream state.
The entire last chapter was about Sukuna battle bro
Gege!! what are you cooking?!
Either Gege is sick and is just ending it while skipping over the planned Tengen arc OR he's setting up a part 2/sequel to run in Jump+ like Chainsawman did.
Crack theory
The "curse user" that was theorized at the end of the chapter made nobara's sister see her fiance with big giant eyes
You know what eyes mean in jjk
I think there is a chance that this was culling game players chapter and the next one will do the same but with other ppl: hakari, kusukabe etc and this is where the main 3 will visit gojos grave or just talk about their old teacher after they are done with this "final" mission
If anyone has seen the Calisto protocol DLC ending. I’m very afraid it’s going that way where everything seems great and loving and it turns out it was all a dream.
Or a fabricated reality… also 270’s chapter title was very off
The title isn't a Gojo come back hint
It translates better to something like "Dream's Realization", which is likely a reference to Gojo's Dream about his student's surpassing him
It's Gojo's dream for a better world where sorcerers will never have to suffer the way he and Geto suffered, the way Yuki suffered, the way Yuji, Megumi, Nobara suffered- it's Gojo's wish that no one else has to go through the pain of being torn apart because the Jujutsu higherups deem it so- Haibara, Nanami, Gojo, Geto, Yuki, Choso- all of them died *for this*
next chapter we see Gojo in a coma on a hospital bed visited by the trio after they are done with the curse user.
there's no grieving because he isn't dead (yet)
"huh let him rest" 😂 ty, u made my day! I totally agree with u, it's definitly weird ...
Im gonna be honest, the ending isnt rushed, but it is structured terribly, sakuna losing was a given yet it was weirdly abrupt and just segwaying into the characters doing a battle reveiw like they didn't just all get nearly killed is just. Weird to me.
1. All of a sudden its announced that jjk will end in next 5 chapters and next chapter sukuna fight will end
2. After the announcement nobara is shown alive and back as a plot convienence
3. Yuji now has domain and allegedly technique to kill sukuna after the announcement again as a plot convienence
4. After the announcement, megumi now wants to live and starts fighting back just like that once again as a plot convienence
5. Everything feels so weird and rushed
Would you still say its not rushed??
Loud thank you so much for the support! I talk about this in my latest video here: ua-cam.com/video/6Y29awcnfRA/v-deo.html
I think the End of Dream reference is to Megumi's dream ending. He recently said his dream was for his sister to walk alongside someone like Yuji. That dream is over at the grave site in the beginning of the chapter.
the honored one has to be honered, it can't just end like this i agree with you bro
Binding vows are just excuses by the author to make his characters more powerful and give them advantages and power ups from no where.
Btw, Sukuna is the character to have used binding vows the most
I just dont think its a dream,But kujaku being back(possibly anyway)Is Wild!
End of the dream; Yugi realizes he lost. Sakuna comes back ends everyone laughing saying nahh Id win !
And i just had a horrible idea what if one lives snd one dies in in reference to Gojo coming back to life but everyone else including sakuna died
One side(Dead) lives, and one side (the living) dies, what if everything we are seeing is just their equivalent of a collective version of the airport scene and they all believe they're alive but this half of reality this dream that they lived happily ever after is over the end of a dream, the end of the happily ever after, the revelation of loss i can easily see gege rug pulling us by revealing that gojo came back but everyone else ultimately died as the cost and imagine the series ends with gojo just mourning the loss of everyone as his entire plan hsi goals everything has failed and worst of all his own top students had to become a monster had to become him to beat sukuna only to die for gojo to return and see everyone else dead
1 lives(Gojo) 1 dies (everyone else)
A juju sequel could also take place some years down the road. Everybody in their mid 20s we could skip a whole bunch of terror that happens… time skip throws us straight into the action now.
It doesn’t have to pick off where this one ends maybe
GeGe will throw in flashback or flashback arcs of what happened in between later on in the story!!!
Would be a breath of fresh air in the shonen genre
I get what you saying. This ending is starting to feel eerie vibes like unsettling.
7:13 100% agree, we need finality with Gojo
Omg takaba’s CT reversal would just be chaos
Ill say it for the next week at minimum. Last segment of the last chapter is the trio back at base, they walk in to check in with a live and well Gojo. End story.
Seeing Takaba made me so happy. Like extremely happy.
My theory is that the girl is not haunted or cursed. But instead she is the next six eyed user. And she started seeing things because her power began awakening.
That's a fun idea but I doubt it because Six eye users are usually born/bred from the Gojo clan
@@smoothhoops3739 maybe, but gojo and yuta are distant relatives and nobody knew about yuta till rika happened. I'd love this as it would tie up a bow around the whole gojo situation. But just in a few days we will know
yOOOO That nurse Kenjaku art is SOOO outta pocket, wtf?!
Well, didn’t GeGe say he hated Gojo? Maybe it’s wasn’t tongue in cheek after all
This chapter just feels very weird overall. Im a major gege apologist but I cant see him just wrapping the series up in a near little bow like this
I think the title “dreams end” is referring to the sorcerers getting back to work.
Gojo has been talked about tp hell after his death. That's the gojo outro
Wheel chair gojo! Wheel chair gojo! WHEEL CHAIR GOJO! WE NEEEEES IT
