Great video, great truck. Would you tell me what foams you used for your mud thrashers? They seem to be much stiffer than stock. My D110 is so heavy, it is sitting almost on the wheels..
Actually they are stock foams... I have not used that set of tires for quite some time (never run them on my TF2) until the D110 build. Perhaps yours have been through water and kept moisture, this could have ruined them. After a wet ride, it's good practise to undo your tires and let them dry on fresh air. Thanks for watching!
Water isn't the problem (Yet) - I just built mine. I had the same tires laying around waiting for a Defender build too :-) I guess the Team Raffee / Asiatees D110 is just much heavier than the rc4wd ... Thanks for the answer!
Great video bro!! Beautiful scale movements 😊. Are yoy fully satisfied with the oldman emu shocks? Or would you consider changing them? Also would be great if you could share details on how you installed the dashboard lights and what kind of bulbs you've used.. They look amazing!
Thanks!!! The shocks have nice behaviour, but I had to tweak the springs as it's a heavy rig... The dashboard is light by LEDs, standard ones, just drilled holes and fitted them :)
Nicely done truck looks good i got a boom racing d110 lol but i was watching and idk if im wrong but it looked like u have lights in the dash may i ask if so could u ecplane how u did it i eant to put lights in my dash but idk how to do it if u could help me id b very thankfull
Drill a few holes here and there, place a few LEDs and you have your dash. This body is the rc4wd one with a d90 stretched interior, way before boom racing got out their masterpiece. Most of the work is custom, like all the lights. Just run them in parallel, all powered from the main battery
Can you share how you were able to get your D90 to ride lower to resemble more of a stock look? The ride height of the D90 right out of the box is just a bit too high for me. Can you share your method for getting it to ride lower?
Joey M Hi Joey, it's a very simple solution. Get your rig as top heavy as it gets. The D90 has almost 2.5kg body. This D110 is lighter so I also tuned the shocks with a softer spring. Of course the body rolls a lot but that's more life like.
There is one in a greek forum, you have to be a member anyways. It would be a pleasure to answer a few questions if any and you can find some pics on my G+
Cool tu for the info i thought about tryin fiber optic lights but idk how to do that and i tell u what this boom racing d110 is amazing theres only 2 things i dont like 1 the spur and pinion r helo gears and 48 pitch i want to change it to norm gears but idk how to convert to 32 pitch from 48 and 2 without a bit of a mod the panhard hits the servo but its a easy fix lol and man shes heavey prob a good 10 pounds lol
Welcome to hard bodies and them being heavy lol As for the 32p gears, divide the spur by the pinion on the 48p and try to get a similar ratio with 32p gears. Swap them out for some descent metal ones !!!
Great video buddy !! 👍👍
Very beautiful Defender. 😉

I guess it's even lighter than RC4WD, this chassis is from RC Modelex... You're welcome !
Nice! TRCmodelex are the best!

Awesome behaviour. Your HPI transmission has what kind of motor?
Hélio Filipe That's a HackMoto 55T. Thanks for watching !

1.9" gmade
That's on the D90. This D110 has 1.55" as it says on the description
+Iakovos Zagoraios sorry im not very observent
Do you have a build thread for this anywhere?
