Excellant job. Any concern about the strength of the box when supporting the washer/dryer? I'm concerned that the MDF may not hold up over time with that much weight? Thoughts? Thanks. Karl
I thought it was well done. I especially liked the detergent dispenser touch. Sure, I don't have the tools to do that, but it was fun to watch. Well done.
VERY IMPRESSIVE, JOB WELL DONE!!!!! I must say your workshop is also as Impressive. If you have the time could you show how you Put your shop together? You have a lot of stuff in a small place, which is very cool. I'm in very small part of the house., just to do odd stuff here and there for the house. How you set up your dust collector for your tools, etc... That for me is amazing how you can do all those things.
Nice job, I'm planning on doing the same and you've given me a few ideas. I had a few questions. Why didn't you install a fabric softener dispenser? Does the dispenser leak or do you have to wait awhile for it to stop once you've closed it, I notice it was dripping for a second or two once closed. Does the washer move? I was thinking of drilling in some holes for the washing machines legs to sit on the base.
Great video and awesome job! I had a question though as I would like to do a build similar to this one but I am very new to woodworking. This may be a dumb question but I noticed that you put a 1 inch trim along the front of the 3/4 MDF which would leave a 1/4 inch of overhang. How did that effect the drawer slides when you installed them? Did you put a 1/4 inch spacer in between the bracket and side paneling or was it able to just fit fine without it? Or did I misunderstand?
Nice video on carcass builds. Very similar to how I just did my mudroom lockers. Really like the spout. Also, I wanted to comment on the apron you have:) I love Duluth Trading Company. I could shop no where but there and be happy. Love my apron.
Just wondering how this is holding up after more than 2 years. If you made it again would you still have used MDF? I would think the vibration and moister might cause fatigue. I will be making these soon and would prefer to make it out of MDF, so if yours is holding up really well, then I am happy to save the money and finishing time. Never even thought of the soap dispenser ..... Thanks for sharing !!!
I've seen comments from people who watch woodworking guys builds stuff with top of the line power toys.mind you before the upgrade they start from not so expensive toys.when a woodworking guys started making money then they started upgrading to the best toys they can buy.🤔
Loved the video! As a woodworking noob, what is happening at 3:27? What is the tool that you're using? The same at 3:38? How did you place and level the appliances inside the cabinet?
At those time stamps, I am using a Festool Domino. It is a machine that creates loose tenon joinery. Think like a biscuit or plate jointer but with a domino shaped piece of wood. Google it! Expensive tool but worth every penny! I leveled the appliances with their factory leveling feet
Nice job... Now about the small table on casters to set her laundry basket on... On with it mate... Anon PS... I think I would like to see a video of someone filling that detergent resevoir.... Hmmmmm
how much clearance did you leave to get the washer and dryer in? And does the hutch come off or is it permanent? I am attempting to do this diy and am just concerned with getting the washer and drying up and inside
Cameron Heidrick Leave an inch or two. but the hutch is removable. So we put the base in place, then put the washer and dryer on top, then installed the hutch.
Glass Impressions awesome. thanks for the quick reply. I dont have a domino to join the hutch. What would you recommend? I do have a kreg jig but i think most people shy away from pocket screws with mdf.
Nice job. You mention you'd leave a link in the description to the confirmat but but I don't see it. I'd also like to know where you source the screws from as well. Thanks and keep up the great vids, new subscriber and enjoying the channel thus far.
I like the comments about the price point of tools compared to the cost of materials. I guess if you're comfortable buying a $200 product from a multi-million dollar facility, then good for you.
Every tool available, along with the terminology... waits for his lady back to go out and yell at him to do a project. Should of been done way before.. lol Jk Nice work.. btw no happy wife happy life.. happy wife= a miserable man Happy man= a happy everyone else..... Patrice O'Neal
Nice...but I'd estimate that 80% or more of your potential viewers don't have access to a workshop like the one you are using here. That means it's not really a useful video for them...or me. Nice work though!
+Rob I DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF ROB...YOU'RE NOT A MORON! YOU'RE NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED BUT NOT A MORON...RELAX...GO MAKE SOMETHING ELSE SO YOU CAN SAVE ANOTHER $8
Great video if you have a shop and all the equipment that you have. Be nice to see someone build one with hand tools.
Virgin Islands here looking at your work .... gr8 job 👍🏾💯
Excellant job.

Very nice, simple, and the wifey likes it. WIN - WIN!! :) Great detergent spout trick, thanks!
Nice! We wanted to see how you got those two machines in the cabinet. I particularly liked the soap dispenser!
I thought it was well done. I especially liked the detergent dispenser touch. Sure, I don't have the tools to do that, but it was fun to watch. Well done.
Great 👍 project, I appericiate your wood working skills and I love the mitre saw👌
Fantastic craftsmanship!
Good project. I have the same laundry pair so I'm gonna give it a try. Do you have a set of plans?
Amazing. Very nice work space too!

Nice job Sir. liking the soap dispenser
awesome project. I believe you made it with 3/4 inch plywood. How does it hold up when the washing machine is spinning?
Nice job, I'm planning on doing the same and you've given me a few ideas. I had a few questions.

fun to watch! nice job. grateful there are still people making things with their bare hands in America, and not just ordering it from China.
How is the pedestal holding up? Asking because I want to build one but I see some build with 2x4 and some with 3/4 in plywood like yours.
Would you ever make your plans available for this project? Its fantastic.
how did you get the washer/dryer mounted in there? How do you get to the backs when you need to access the backs of the washer/dryer?
You're an artist!
U made it seem easy!
THANKS FOR THE IDEA
A laundry basket stand would be nice addition.
this is great but most people don't have the tools this guy has!
great job man. love the shop.
looks great looked like the dispenser hit the pull out
How much did the materials cost and how long did that take? Is it necessary to do all the routing and such? I don't have a wood shop.
Hi! Wha't the thickness of the plywood? 3/4 inch? my washing machine weight 200 lb.
That's ok
thanks a great job!!

Hi excellent video how much do you charge for build same and shipping to Massachusetts
Looks great
I'm sending our address. Just let me know when you're coming over to build ours. haha
man your good! This is bad @$$ stuff. I wish I had all the fancy tools you have to build something like this.
Thanks Tobey! Please subscribe for weekly videos!

Thanks Chris! Yes love the apron. Have tried a lot in the past few years and this by far takes the cake.
oh my god I love you, please come to my house and build one for me. Such a great job, your wife should be so proud, if only my hubby was that handy.
Must be nice to have a wood shop
My dream workshop
How much for the plans!??
Amazing!!!
I came from the drunken woodworker and stayed here because you make cool stuff thanks for it

WannaBeWood Smith we moved but it was holding up fine. If I would do it again, I would use a high quality plywood.

that's what I was thinking I was going to go with that Garnica poplar core plywood

I built two pedestals, but I don't know how to get the machines up on them.
Excellent

I haven't even finished watching the video yet, nice response time :)
Matt Przybylski I'm here to please :) thanks for watching. Please subscribe!
I did earlier today and slowly making my way through your videos. I'm smashing the like button so much that my fingers hurt.
Matt Przybylski :)
Do you think i could use this www.rockler.com/table-leaf-aligners-6-pairs to joint the hutch to the pedestal or would using dowels be a better option?
Dowels would work just fine. Or biscuits.
I like the comments about the price point of tools compared to the cost of materials. I guess if you're comfortable buying a $200 product from a multi-million dollar facility, then good for you.
Carcass parts?
Show us how to do that with just a compound mitre saw, circular saw, nails, screws, glue, screw gun and a hammer.
Extremerecluse Fallows I challenge you to! I have more tools than that.
Why COULDN’T you do it with just those tools?
I bought a track saw at Menards for about $89
Did you do this with 3/4 MDF?
Yes sir. And an oil based primer.
Of course then a top coat of paint
The way you built the stand is great but honestly to be ergonomically correct it should have been higher
Just my opinion !!!
Plans?
Nice video! Please wear eye protection though!
HOW MUCH WOULD YOU CHARGE TO BUILD ONE FOR ME, IM IN NJ :)
Ok now i shall crawl back into my humiliation cubby hole
No one ever shows how they actually lift the washing machine up on the stand.
$20,000 tools and $200 in wood to build a washer and dryer stand? Never mind.
Yup, this is the only thing I ever built. Then I sold all my tools... Face palm.
lol. It can certainly get done with economical tools. Beautifully done. I would need a double spout. My wife like fabric softener
Glass Impressions 😂😂😂

For starters husband just don’t say OK
I see you didn't make a cart for the wife so she can just walk up to the machine to load in the clothes. Don't want to spoil her to much .
Yeah who the heck has all these tools?
Your wife told you to paint it white. Quit lying
Why does she make herself look like a hag?
Nice...but I'd estimate that 80% or more of your potential viewers don't have access to a workshop like the one you are using here. That means it's not really a useful video for them...or me. Nice work though!
