So i bought the Avangard a while back. The inlays fell off and the detent ball kept catching on the tang of the blade and coming out. I glued the inlays and put the detent ball back in and added a detent ramp and now its great. But its all t6s. Even the pivot. But for $250 you shouldn't have to do that stuff. I should have bought this. For the price you get some good materials and nice milling.
I've purchased two folding Reel Steel knives in the last three years awhile they looked well made and unique, they were junk. Once of the knives I own with a liner lock, won't hold the lock position and the blade folds in half. The other knife I couldn't flip out, it was so stiff.

There are some similarities. Thanks, Ypres.
Armored, military look.
Very much a modern manufactured style knife. More machine than man. Thanks, Barlow.
Good looking knife, just not really my cup of tea! Thanks for sharing, Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!
Understandable. Thanks, Stan.
