Listen I’d consider myself good at platformers and games like this. I’ve held a world record in pizza tower for a while and I’m 5th in the leaderboard for the swap mode 100% category But this fucking level is the bane of my existence. If you make 1 tiny little mistake in the platforming sections, it’s all over. I’ve played this level too many times to count and I just can’t get the cracked rank. Took me a while to just get through it normally on combo chain mode
I feel that Pizza Tower is rather lax in terms of P ranks. Peppino has so many movement options and ways to get speed which makes it to where as long as you know the stage layout, you can easily establish a flow. Even if you get hit, the super taunt can save your rank by simply taking out ten enemies. Antonblast differs in how much leniency they give you. The ability to regain your combo by clutching twice in a row may make it seem easy at first; however you have to consider there really aren’t that many sections in the game where you can just spam the clutch attack. Plus the added addition of a health system also makes you more cautious as you can’t afford to brush off hits or save your combo with a “kill everything on screen button. Finally Antonblast seems more precision based than Pizza Tower. In Pizza Tower you could easily recover from a mistake as I stated above but in Antonblast a mistake could cost you the entire run ESPECIALLY in stages such as this one or Crimson Factory. This is not to say one game is better than the other but I think that’s why Antonblast feels harder in general.
@ I did lol. It was painful but I did. I’m just starting hell manor today. Heads up, the Mysterious Glasshouse is probably the hardest one in the game so far
Heya not sure if you do know by now, but you can reduce your height of your hammer bounces by holding down while performing the windup in mid-air, this game is brutal when going for cracked runs nice work!
All other combo chains and even time trials are so easy, but THIS!???? I was hard stuck on this level for a WEEK, I FUCKING DESPISE THE CHAIN COMBO only and only on this level, the next levels were very easy, surprisingly. Even the damn time trial here is horrible Just as you said, one tiny mistake and back to the start. It doesn't help that this level is so fucking long like Jesus Christ O_O
hoo boy, glad to hear i'm not the only one that suffered getting cracked here only took me like 45 minutes to get par time, but THIS? four hours of pure platforming hell. worth it for that sweet, sweet dopamine rush
It's kinda funny, during the demo days this level is said to be challenging and advance. Well they were abit right, if you are just running normal it's fine. But on a cracked run it is challenging due to the shifting platforms can force you a full stop. If you notice on how I did the run the min I am in the new room I have to keep going and timed my jumps right.
@@zenadvent8122 yeah and the worst thing about This level is that the cracked combo chain it's not difficult because the level itself,it is difficult for their mechanics like the switching platforms or the jumping on the totem birds attacks section in the last room before the it's happy hour room
This level simply isn't properly designed for Cracked runs. That probably applies to most of the levels, Cracking a level is _obscenely_ difficult for even the best players.
i hate this fucking stage for combo chain so much im not even doing cracked (which im not ever gonna do) and its still the most unbelievably infuriating thing in the entire world
A good combo trial should be completable by going at the level’s pace, including during the slower sections with precise platforming. NOT, at a consistently fast pace, doing so results in the player having to do precise sections in imprecise ways. This level does not understand that, either that or it does and just wants us to suffer. Also the slight knockback you take from getting hit by the clock completely throws you out of a loop and especially during the platforming sections makes getting hit once basically a complete death most of the time.

Yeesh.
Not even pre patch Gnome forest was *this* demanding of the player

They did warn in the demo days that it is hard. I am just surprise its in the first floor and not somewhere in the middle.
This is some frustrating shit. I can't even get to happy hour, keep dying because of this stupid platforms that I need to wait
this was the most difficult cracked combo chaim that i had to do

I totally agree man😢

getting the treasure on the way out is smart, i'd been trying to get it on the way in and it seems almost impossible
It's the only tactic to work since once you got the treasure you are at risk losing the combo due to no chains near by.
well, seals are good thing in antonblast
ngl i feel like bouncing on the eggs should atleast refill your combo
What’s with the skull? Do you die if the combo stops?
you take damage if the combo stops
@ oh I thought it was instant death
@@TheBigMan0706 for a cracked run it basically is, because a nonstop combo is one of the requirements for the cracked rank.
@ oh I’m dumb
I HATE CINNAMON SPRINGS
i bet deviled gardens is gonna be easier than this shit
it is easy, for some strange reason maybe a false sense that the last one won't be hard. Which it is.
@i should try to attempt it before crimson factory then
the mech, conveyors, and flying hazards are driving me insane
