Yes! I LOVE Martyr in C5. I actually run her, Ant-Man, Rocket, and Titania in my C5 deck. Can play Black Swan T5 and drop however many of the 1-drops you have in hand *and* Doom on T6. (Obviously, Titania is strictly a last-turn play anyway.)
I am such a Cerebro fanatic that I have my own homebrew Cerebro decks for every number 2 through 7. 😅
Now that Martyr series drop, I can actually play this deck
yeah i was missing howard and martyr and i got martyr from the free series 3 card and howard with tokens
You could totally replace Martyr, she is such a non essential card lol

RE Namora and White Widow, a decent amount of the time it actually helps your curve, because it comes down in a lane where you didn't have a card yet. I remember winning a game where my opponent thought they were so clever by Prof Xing the lane with the Widow's Kiss right up until Namora came down.

I hate the Hydra Bob change too. It feels really unnecessary. 2/5 is perfect and what Bro 5 needed.
I hate it, also. But, at least I do play my own C4 build, and I will definitely try him in there.

Counterpoint, while 1/4 bob is definitely worse, I think Hydra Bob’s old design was significantly less interesting and was basically just printing a card for c5 and c5 alone
@@munchlacks2900 that’s what I liked about it though. Also, it had other uses outside of that. Sera control lists probably would’ve lived the card m.

@@6ftmouse349 i mean the cost of the bast can still be modified, needn't be a 1.
Or Bast text can be changed to: "On Reveal, set the base power of cards in your hand to your current maximum energy." You could then get Cerebro 1-5 without creating more cards. Would also be more fun and powerful in a bounce deck.
I also wish more themed cards and location had synergy. Some do and others don't at all. I wish Black Panther was a 2/1 with same on reveal so it could work better with this or original Bast, Nakia and other Wakanda cards.
Dr Strange should have Jeff effect with same on reveal effect as a 3 or 4 cost so he can be played into Sanctum etc.
For curiosity, does red guardian nullify corvis ?
he does not, theoretically an odin would be unable to trigger him, but that does not nullify the initial ramp

Nothing. This is the one card in the deck that helps location problems.

Silk replacement?
Silk helps trigger Miles, so any replacement's going to hurt this deck's consistency.

Replacing matyr with Titania because she is awful
You cannot play titania on curve. She is much worse than Martyr.
