Hi Heather, what is your take on thema mundi & the outer planets ruling signs vs not ruling signs. Im starting to see the logic behind Jupiter ruling pisces mars ruling scorpio & Saturn ruling Aquarius but still going back & forth on this subject?
I use both systems, modern and traditional rulerships.. this is what I find works best for me personally when I'm looking at things like house rulerships :) Everyone has their own preference though!

Yes, for me also. Unfortunately, she didn't offer any example... That's why I am not able to understand...or I am not sure if I understand correctly. It seems like you should listen to Pisces reading, according to what she is saying, hmmm. Check it out I am wondering, if I should listen to readings for Virgo or Libra(depends on House system) for my Sun sign in Sag, or if having chart ruler(Mercury) in 6th/7th House in Sag means I should listen to the readings for the sign of Gem or Virgo/Libra as my Ris Sign... I find checking readings for the Ris Sign most logic, but then, it is always the first House where the rising is, so in my case Gem, no matter where the ruler is..., but following the logic presented in this video, one should perhaps consider the placement of the ruler of the 1st House as a Rising Sign(?)🤕

If you’re using Placidus then 18 Aquarius is the start of the first house, and sets the placement of all the houses in your chart, and is also your ascendant. In whole sign houses 0 degrees of the sign of your ascendant (in your case Aquarius) is the start of the first house and each house in the horoscope corresponds to one sign only.

Hi Heather, If that's the case, then how does exaltation work? Aren't certain planets exalted in certain signs? Isn't the house ruler exalted in the sign it rules? What is the relationship between the natural house sign and ones natal signs throughout the houses? Can you do a video on the stand alone energies of the houses?
In short, do not apply set signs to represent any of the houses. (For example, Aries is said to represent the first house. She is saying this is irrelevant information). Personally, I’m confused how I can have Aquarius in the 3rd house, but then the planets in that house are in Pisces... Heather, maybe there should be more space between you and the mic. You have a great speaking voice and excellent projection so I don’t think the mic needs to be all up on you. Sometimes it gets too loud and sounds bad.

People tend to associate Mars with Aries. Would having mars conj the ascendant give you an Aries and/ or scorpio vibe. Mars is the traditional ruler of scorpio. It is more of that strategic, thoughtful Mars energy.

I am looking at this from the point of view of mars having a scorpio vibe as well as aries vibe. The sun and moon are in earth signs, with sun in house 12 and moon in house 4. This is quite a long question, I know.

My planets are in one place when I look at the tropical list in my chart and then my planets are in different signs on my houses, I get so confused 🤷♀️ Still trying to figure this out. Or when an astrologer says look in what house you have 11° degrees of ‘whatever’ and I have a different degree number, don’t know how to figure that either... Eleven degrees of a sign is eleven degrees of a sign - you may or may not have planets or other placements there but you can still find it in the chart.
You overthink this too much, just look in which house does that degree fall in. Think of your houses as slices of pizza. Let's say you have one piece of pepperoni on your pizza, on which piece does it fall? You have all the degrees in your chart, your house doesn't have to start with that 11 degrees but it falls into one of them. If for example your 1st house starts at 5 degrees Aries and ends at 5 degrees Pisces then the 11th degree Aries is in your 1st house.
wait but houses are still ruled by the sign it is in though right? like capricorn asc is still ruled by saturn , I had to find this out on my own but thank you for confirming my suspisions as an amateur, I'm looking forward to enrolling in your class
So if we only have 3 strands of DNA activated, does that mean that we only have the earth element plus either male or female fire? This is because there are 6 elements, as there are 6 or 7 of everything and ive heard were supposed to have 12 strands of DNA.
This was just advertising. I’m a Libra rising and I know houses are not the same as signs. I didn’t learn anything. Just do that: take my course. Other videos you post are really useful, but not this one.

And I have been thinking for a long time that so many of these you tubers give so much info away for free,(they put a lot of work and time into making these vids,let alone the time and money they’ve spent over many years learning and gaining their knowledge , which if they share with others ,its only fair that they glean some compensation for that..And yes it is their way of advertising! There is nothing wrong with that.Too many people just want everything for free these days!! I see that as selfish! You can use the free programs... we do EVERYTHING using the free software on astro.com and show you how to use it for yourself for each technique :)

YES. It absolutely would. If in a water sign, I've noticed more of a Scorpio vibe, Fire sign more Aries but yes.

Yes, if your first house is occupied by Capricorn, the planetary ruler of your 1st house is Saturn :)
