- Hello everyone, to the first Spark the Electric Jester timeline video. This also happens to be my first video of 2022, so yay for that. This video took me a while to upload just because of me moving back into the college dorms, but I should be able to upload more consistently for now. Spark: The Electric Jester is the most magnificent mix of Sonic and MegaMan. I'm really digging it.
Fun facts:
Spark in Spark 1 always heads north for his adventure as you can clearly see both sunsets, with the exception of the ending where he heads back home to the south, where you can clearly see the sunrise.
And a possibile reason why Spark doens't get tired throughout his adventure is that to create a stronger gravity and habitable environment, the formies had to spin the moon faster, making days shorter and explaining the lack of need for Spark to sleep or eat. (The sonic fan games only took place over 2 or 3 days).
Also I kinda wish I could see Luna from the Earth, it would be interesting to see a vibrant moon with all kinds of different colours and lights.
Thank you for making this, I honestly thought I was the only one who understood the story. Can't wait for spark 3!

Small correction:
Fark's storyline is still present in Spark 1, now it just says its not canon. I wonder if the challenge video game storyline is still canon though...
And Spark 3's story is the gift that just keeps on giving.
Yep. Spark is definitely my favorite Sonic fan game ever known. With such a compelling timeline, origin, and story.

Hate that I'm so late to this I'm really interested to see how Spark is gonna react to how Fark looks now like they may have beef with each other but it's always been petty they never really had a chance to actually talk but now that they have spent a super long time apart from each other and seeing that Fark is a hero of the planet just like spark it'll definitely be a bittersweet final fight between them once they realize they arent so different they just have different ways of defending the planet
This game is super deep if they people take the time to read into it like they do with the sonic games specifically SA2

Im pretty sure 2:19 is from the 1.5 update rewrite while everything else is from 1.0, i remember prototype telling spark that he was build to ensure megarph's creation and spark telling him that megaraph was built 2 years ago, and then prototype asking spark to spar with him to make sure hes strong enough in order to help him find what is going on. Prototype impersonating freom was from 1.0
Also on 1.5 what seam neutralizes are mindless robots.
There's also the contradiction that while in 5:37 fark is created by armstrong to backstab freeom (1.0), in 15:29 fark is stated to be freom's son.
This clears up alot. I though I just got a broken copy of the game or, or missed duologue, or something.

Nice summary so far, but regarding Spark 1's story, it recieved an overhaul in update 1.5. Just pointing out.

Technically, spark was only against the fark force due to a misunderstanding. If he knew what was actually going on he would have stood with fark force too. A shame no one clued him in before…you know…THAT happened.

I think it's funny: The Super form in the first game was a HUGE power boost for Spark, but the Super form in the 2nd game was not even much of an upgrade mechanically speaking.
Yeah, and it's a PAIN to unlock for regular play.
