Does this VU2 affect the input signal? I know the delay and gain controls are totally separate from the signal and switching capability, but does this unit - when used as a multiplexer/switcher - have any affect on the signal THD as it passes through? No Douk/Nob information on this, and I've read some people are reaching conclusions that it does...
It's impossible to have no effect at all, but we've tested it to be very small. However, if it is used as a MULTIPLEXER, the sound may be affected, because this is only a pure parallel connection, and the simultaneous work of multiple channels will affect each other.😃

Hello. Yes, it can work. You can connect it between your receiver and preamp/amp/speakers.
Can this be put between a preamp and an amp and have the meters react more as the volume is increased like an old vintage reciever?
Hello. It should be placed before the preamp and behind the sound source. It will react more as the volume is increased.
