For people who are planning on using the Instructor's set in general, you should use an off-piece ER sands since a 5-star sands will have more ER main stat than an Instructor's sands. This makes it easier to hit your ER requirement

I’m quite surprised that arlc actually likes so many options where I thought she mainly just wanted yelan and kazuha since it seem Mona at high cons sucrose and now Candace? I’m happy that she’s not so tied to certain characters rather than structures. Also benny got his spot back with her since sumeru and dendro meta plus Fontaine didn’t rly need him much

Honestly, Arlecchino seems broken not because of damage (which she certainly doesnt lack) but simply because of how versatile she is turning out to be. You can pair her with lots of teams, have a great F2P weapon and artifact set, and she will still carry you
I won't be surprised if Arlecchino also works well with Thoma and Layla as they are also buffing normal dmg. On a side note, Dehya is really pairing well with Arlecchino it's just that no one else notices it

I’m still probably gonna rely on yelan even so. She does more damage. Plus the additional buff from yelan’s passive is nice on arlecchino and mitigates her damage loss over time.
And unfortunately you need Candace’s c6 for this. Mine is c1. I would def try it out if I could though.

If you want to optimize the rotation, do the same opener with Arle Skill > Kazuha Skill, however switch to Candace and do her skill + burst and then follow it up by Kazuha's burst. Then you can drop Benny burst + skill and do one final Kazuha swirl with his skill to double-swirl both elements and have more hydro application on the enemy (kazuha burst field)
Ya someone in the comments pointed that out. It’s a tight rotation without much room for error and instructors runs out too fast but it pretty much guarantees vapes if you do a good 2 hydro infused autos after Kazuha 2nd E. So it won’t hit as hard but you’ll increase your chance of vapes. But I do like my rotation taking advantage of Instructors
Been using her since arlecchino came out. but i guess it became good because she need her c6 and i have c5. it's strong but not strong enough for me to share and i guess it's a good thing that someone have found her and share her usefulness with one of the best dps character. guess i just need to find her last con.
reason i found her cause my arlecchino lack energy so i cant burst everytime she is low so i want someone to survive and Beido as well as candice came to mind. Cause I play Dark soul's game. PARRY BABY!! it's FUN with or without c6.

I don't play with Kazuha and Bennett... but I guess Xiangling and someone like Sucrose might also work. Aside from the fact that Sucrose doesnt get infusion.
I was thinking of a vape/burgeon team too. Arlecchino, Candace, Kirara, flex. Flex would probably be Nahida or Xiangling but let's be honest, we don't have much shielding with candace. Kirara would fix that and cause the occasional burn, bloom and burgeon. They can't deal damage if they're dead so Kirara is a must pick for me here xD
Candace won’t apply enough hydro for you to reliably get seeds so you’ll run into a problem there. And burgeon is dangerous with Arle even tho you have a shield. But don’t let me hold you back if you’re just trying to have some fun

My normal arlecchino team uses yelan. That works very well. But om sick of having Candace benched so indeed it's time for some fun :D
Is candace's hydro apply so strong it allows arle to vape even when kazuha swirl's pyro with his burst?Judging from the clips it does but i wanna confirm (since i dont have c6 candace oof) also would 4pc tenacity work as an alternative for candace build?
Her hydro is strong enough but only works in Kazuha burst if you do a couple hydro infused autos with Kazuha first. Without those autos it won’t work. And unfortunately tenacity 4pc doesn’t work since her C6 procs are burst damage instead of skill. So your option are Emblem, Instructors, Noblesse, or 2pc sets with HP or ER
So, Ive been retired from genshin for a year now but, besides a breefly buff (nuke), what is it worth? Shouldn't it be better if Kazuha's burst swirled Hydro for more consistent vapes??
The problem is that how the rotation would work if you managed to swirl hydro in Kazuha burst. The only realistic rotation you can make it work your buffs have very small uptime. So pyro Kazuha burst gets you the longest most consistent damage. Which is why you should only do that if you have C2 Kazuha

Ya and Kaeya can work but not by himself. Maybe along side Rosaria but I don’t care for it too much. Melt feels less predictable to me
You should try get more hp for her. yes her burst buffs dmg, but you're missing out on her passive. Get her to 40k and thats an extra 20% added to the buff
That’s true and I got more testing to do but so far I’ve realized it’s a give and take. I sacrifice HP for Favonius and Instructors. So it’s a question of the extra HP being more damage and more valuable than the others. So far my current build has been the smoothest rotation but I got more builds to try

No can’t because Bennett isn’t reacting plus he’s on field in the beginning of the rotation. So even if I made him react the buff would expire. Candace causes a reaction right before Arle takes the field. And her difference in HP just isn’t making a big enough difference

That was actually the first rotation I tried. I quickly learned why Zajef said it was near impossible. It doesn’t leave you with enough uptime on Kazuha burst. By the time Arlecchino starts attacking the burst is almost done. And this second one won’t work because Candace burst is really short. Have to pop hers at the end.

I decided to test that out and it’s not too bad. Situationally better. It can work but it’s a very tight rotation so there isn’t much room for error. If you get hit it kinda falls apart. And instructors runs out fast since it only has 8 seconds uptime. But the first few Arle vapes are pretty much guaranteed. But after Kazuha E he has to do hydro infused autos so Arle CA doesn’t take all the hydro. If everything goes perfectly I like it. Thanks for that

Personally i use lynette with freedom sworn [lynette gives atk% buff to the team. Slap the freedom sworn and shes golden.] Along with thoma and xingqiu. Idk if i have c6 candaxe but if i do i will use her instead of xingqiu and place noblesse. It sounds fun!
I donf go for screenshot/nuke dmg. I go for consistent so i prefer lynette over many other options available

No Bennett buff is still huge. His buff gives a lot of attack, more than Kokomi with thrilling tales. Doesn’t have much to do with Candace’s buff.

I hope so but earliest would probably be in 4.7 or 4.8. Candace was last seen on Navia's banner. Candace has had 3 banners so far so no wonder it's rare to see her C6.
You could try Arle E - Kazuha E - Candace EQ - Kazuha Q - Bennet Q - Arle rotation. That way you infuze KAzuha's burst with hydro and you don't even need C6 for Candace.
Only problem is when Arle starts attacking the pyro VV effect will be gone. Both pyro swirl and Candace Q have to be towards the end of the rotation.
How about Nilou? She has consistent aoe hydro. I has been using Arlec with Nilou for a while, enemies always have hydro aura. Nilou can be on intrustor since she has no ER requirement.
Interesting. Never tried that. Nilou’s kit doesn’t directly buff at all but if she actually helps consistently vape that can be an option. But I’d rather Xingqiu or Yelan for their damage. So I guess if you have no other options

For that specific team I’d say Arle E, Yelan E into Q, Kazuha Q, Bennett E into Q, Kazuha E (swirl pyro), Arle CA and you’re good to go.

No it doesn’t matter. Her normal attack boost scales up with her HP and her personal damage is negligible. Might as well save your resources there and just focus on the character level.

Arlechinno's spot for me is with raiden dps, Bennet, and chevreuse. Her vape team is better and i used it to clear abyss, but got dang that overload is alot of fun.

Yes you got that right. And Candace will do better than Yunjin because her attack speed buff doesn’t do much because of all the hit lag. Meanwhile Candace can get Arle to vape in AoE. So Instructors or not Candace beats Yunjin
that is wrong, you won't swirl pyro with that rotation. Correct and faster rotation is Arlecchino E > Benneth Q > Kazuha E > Candace E Q > Arlecchino CA then NA spam. you dont need to benneth E in this rotation if you have decent er build for him cuz Arlecchino E gives lots for particles which can be pre- funnelled into his burst.

No problem. And Kazuha will swirl pyro either way since Bennett’s burst applies pyro to the character so their rotation works as well as the rotation you stated.

Actually no. In AoE situations at least. Vaping in an AoE is pretty huge AND Candace buffs normal attacks. Against bosses tho I say Yelan is still on top.

Ya I tried putting Candace first to swirl hydro in Kazuha burst but it’s real stinky trying to put Candace burst earlier. That’s why Zajef said it was impossible and he was right. On the bright side since Arle is so front loaded the biggest hits are within Bennett burst with decent uptime.

As much as I love alternative teams/underdogs, this is quite simply pointless. Yelan brings dmg amplification and higher off field dps. Xq brings decent off field dps and damage mitigation (which is a Godsend for Arle). If you have them, there are zero reasons to prefer Candace over them.
If you're in AOE just go overload with Chev: bennet arle chev + yae/beidou. Or go mono pyro with xiangling. There, you fixed your aoe needs.
Each comp has their advantages. Chevreusse is a new unit most don’t have. Mono pyro has the weakness of being useless against any pyro enemies (weaker that vape too). In terms of AoE clearing the Candace comp cleared the fastest in most situations even compared to my C4R1 Yelan. Having such heavy hitting front loaded vape damage is huge which I think you’re underestimating. And Yelan is a hot commodity so the more versatility the better. I don’t really mess with copium teams. I only talk about what I think is legitimately strong.

there are much better teams working much easier also at lower constellations
heres why candace is a terrible pick, especially regarding the way you build her
1. her c6 and passive scales with hp, youre using 4* EM set, not making particular use of that to begin with (low hp scaling as main stats on 4* artifacts)
2. you need loads of ER, therefore on sands and weapon to realiably fill up her burst with 60 energy which is quite a bit for only 9 secs uptime
3. her c6 (which is your main point using her with her arlecchino) only triggers every 2,3 secs which is a lot, meaning itll trigger only 4x at best per burst and roughly only every 3rd hit of arlecchino, which isnt a reliable hydro application let alone scaling reliably well with your artifacts either
4. even if you go full hp build with 5* artifacts (except sands and weapon which has to be ER for a rather fast and realible burst charge up) youll end up with roughly 32k hp, making her passive grant 16% bonus dmg on normal attacks only (with another +20% during her burst up time) you wont utilize or have barely any hdyro application ( 3x isnt enough) and swapping in and out for tidals waves is lost time arlecchino can spend on field dealing dmg imo
i LOVE candace, and i tried her already hoping the best, sadly, its not worth it
even c6 barbara with her E only grants good hydro application with a downtime of 7 secs only while lasting 20 secs and arlecchino will be up close anyways and for people who dont have zhongli, barbara can revive her with her c6 once in the worst case
additionally, barbara can use 3* book to grant arlecchino a 48% atk boost too, which is an easier rotation too
I appreciate your input but I don’t agree. Throughout my testing and demonstrations I have proven how viable this is. The boost in EM overpowers the boost you’d get with HP, she gets her burst back even in single target situations because of Favonius, and the rate she applies hydro matches up with Arle ICD. There’s other teams with similar performance but that’s the beauty of Arlecchino. So I don’t agree with you on this one
