Loreena McKennitt started recording around '85 but was actually smart enough to create her own label, Quinlan Road, from the start. I remember the raised eyebrows at the time but it has served her well.

Around 1999 I was offered a deal from Interscope Records. Jimmy Iovine came and watched our band do a rehearsal in an L.A. studio and loved us. But there was all kinds of shady weirdness going on. Long story short, it didn't work out, and my LOOK, and I guess our songs were not right for them. I'm glad to this day that we didn't sign anything...

I once witnessed The Chupacabra riding The Loch Ness Monster while Bigfoot had a lasso around the neck of ole Nessie in a lake on Mars. No Martian’s though.

"Now That The Work Is Done" is one of my favorite albums. The quality of the songwriting is excellent in my humble opinion. Not to mention the obvious level of musicianship. A very fine record indeed.

I'm so glad you didn't sell-out! The Catch-22 really does suck. I'm so glad that you still own that music.

Big foot , I always wondered why they never used blood hounds to find it. Never pictures are seen on trail cameras of it either.

The best thing about this show is the music at the very end. Always worth waiting for...

You're just more arbitrary than commercial, or more commercial than arbitrary. You've really been going for the gold. I'm so glad you got those masters back. But that is so sad. Sorry, bro.

So you mean, dad was right: you CAN'T make money playing the fiddle?? Damn, there goes another get-rich-quick scheme down the tubes.

I believe, John! I believe! Bigfoot is real, and he hides all the VERY BEST tone woods in his cave. No kidding!

One can't really make money doing music anymore. Selling advertising with our music, stories, whatever, seems too be the future. But how long will that last?

I keep hoping a generation will come along that wants to get back to the basics - but I don't see any sign of it. I think it will come about 5 minutes after I drop dead ... !

Well J.P.,....you saw 1 small peice of Denmark. What you didn't see is how poor and pitiful the rural areas are. My family is from Holm, Denmark. A very small rural town where the average life span is 45. The healthcare system is so abhorrent that if your are deathly ill?? It may be weeks before your free doctors visit will take place. It horrific. Apparently you didn't go grocery shopping either. Your jaw would've hit the cobblestone I assure you. Socialism doesn't work. Never has,....never will. You see special VIP's are never permitted to see THE TRUTH . You get cold beer, free food, and warm beds. Next time ask to go see some rural countryside communities and see what they tell you.

If I go camping and play a bunch of hillbilly guitar, someday I can do this too? Really? Sign me in! Wait!!! What about the mosquitos?
