My personal favorite is during the cemetery mission for Bronte, the creepy organ music playing during that mission is the theme song to the old 1970's movie Phantasm, which is a film centered around a supernatural grave robber. Look.. I don’t mean to be a jerk, but.. if they had done GTA V in Vice City and GTA VI in San Andreas, without changing RDR2 at all, every reference in this game to “heading west” would be taken as a tease about the game.. I mean, so many different places and directions are mentioned in this game, both small and large references.. I just don’t see it. Heck, I can think of two or three references to New York off the top of my head! If we didn’t already know the setting of GTA VI, that alone could be spun as “evidence” that VI is going back to Liberty City. I do believe there’s little teasers and references.. Just.. I don’t think we’ll notice any of them until after VI comes out.
Far-fetched: improbable; not naturally pertinent; being only remotely connected; forced; strained: He brought in a far-fetched example in an effort to prove his point
I mean this is a fucking stretch but hear me out 😂. In the letter later in the video, it reads “Please stay in California until I arrive next March.” Rockstar wanted us to stay with GTA 5 and hang in there until GTA 6 gets released or announced. Which we did. We waited 5 years. RDR2 was released in 2018. GTA 6 got announced in 2023. Guess how many letters “March” has? 5. So “Please stay in California until I arrive next March” could be “Please stay in California until I arrive in the next 5 years.” I know, it doesn’t make entirely too much sense and it’s utterly implausible but I thought it would be interesting enough to share lmao.
I was expenting some mention of Guarma, with that kind of enviroment, tropical forest and the beach. I saw that as teasing of enviroments we would explore in GTA VI.
"I see sand, an ocean, and palm trees, find the black flower, and you will be rewarded." - Blind Man Cassidy Another tease. Unless he's talking about Guarma, an easter egg yet to find. Or the black flower is a nickname or a place that will be featured in GTA VI.
I'm pretty sure Arthur dying out east was the point thematically of rdr2. The gang wants the freedom of the west but keeps being boxed in to the east. The days of freedom were limited for the gang and were concluded by Arthur's death. Also in terms of teasing the next location, Arthur also died pretty far north, so wouldn't you assume Liberty City at that point? We all figured the next game would be VC because the gta games seem to center around 3 major American cities and we haven't yet had the new generation of VC whereas we have for LC and LS Edit: I don't mean to be a jackass with this, power to you to theory craft and look closer at things if that's what you want to do
Yo dude. I play i lot of skate 3. I can mind as well see the Ditch as the Dutch to hint to skate 4, whenever that come to realization. Lay of the cookies bro
At 1:10 u said the gangs forced more and more east. They aren’t. They are being forced more and more west towards the lawless parts of the United States. They are running from the places that are becoming more civilized.
Just straight up no. The entire story revolves around them being closed in by the law because they can’t go anywhere west (even though that’s what they want) due to everyone recognizing them so they have no choice but to retreat further and further into civilization to the east.
North, south, east, west. They are just directions. Using the same logic the characters storyline in any game would be determined by the game makers next game.
Have you found any cool Easter eggs in RDR2?
alien
I was way behind the curve. I found that big ass snake hanging in the tree in the swamp on accident. Imagine my surprise. 😂. I shot it so many times 😂

Can we get a petition for a RDR3? 😂 I know it wouldnt make much sense at this point, but man. RDR2 has to be the best game I've ever played.
It's Rip Van Winkle Micahhh!!!!
Arthur last breath..

I don't think we're talking about the same game lol
Naw, they went in a big circle around the map, ending with John out West In Beechers Hope.

They went south. Then east a bit then John went west 😂 What is this theory? lol

yeah judging by the god awful gta 6 trailer, i can see why Arthur really wanted to go east... so much "freedom" in there.
