Glad to hear they do have a hoist for the pool as all we saw was the chair. Those changing rooms look great too. Just to let others know in the standard changing rooms ever cubicle has a fold down baby)small child seat so you would have somewhere safe to secure your little one whilst you get changed yourself. The also have spin dryers for you swimwear and free hairdryers.
We loved the facilities too, I have a five year old daughter and my husband has MS often in disabled changing rooms in pools it can be a squeeze to get all of us sorted in the Butlins Bognor Regis pool we had no trouble at all. I also went back with just my daughter and the standard changing rooms; the smallest ones are also amazingly spacious. The pool feels really well thought out. We did note that when we visited they only had one wet wheelchair which is one of the reasons my husband did not return for the rest of the holiday but the staff assured us they were getting more, it had only been open a week when we visited so we accepted it was just teething troubles🤣 all round it is an amazing facility I had to drag my daughter out after five hours, she was started to go blue 🤦♀️
Not sure if i5 is the same company or not but we have a splash near us and they have an accessible pool!! And the lockers numbers are quite small on the lockers an£ 6 of the lockers they put giant numbers on the lockers and put these lockers are reserved for the visually impaired !, they are completely remaking it though an£ moving down the 4oaf from where they are so hopefully they will stay as good!! I have a weird red cord story to tell you I shall try to remember to tell you on messenger!!
This pool is in Butlins, it belongs to Butlins Bognor so its a diffrent company, its called splash but owned by Butlins. For accessibility it is amazing! I was blown away by it!
This is a excellent question Simon, YES the life guards are regularly trained on how to help the disabled and use the equipment to safely help the disabled in and out of the pool. The manager spent a long time talking to us I wish I had a Dictaphone to have recorded everything he told us. Something we plan to invest in. TC, hugs, Stacey K xxx
@@RawAbilityLife Dictaphones are certainly useful for interviews in your advocacy. I get them heavily discounted for work; so perhaps I can send one to you as a gift? Drop me an e-mail with some preferred models and I'll see what I can do.
Hi Stacey and John. Hope you are both well. It seems that the payment glitch on Patreon has finally been sorted and I have now been billed $54 to your channel. It will now process monthly on the first of each month. Please let me know that the money has reached you. There shouldn't now be any further issues. Thank you for all your inspiring content. Simon.
Hello Simon, The money has gone threw thank you, we do not transfer it to our account as it will all go back into RAL, be it through improving our equipment to sorting out videos to be more acssesible. I posted someone to you a couple days ago I hope it arrives safe soon. TC, hugs, Stacey K xx

Thank you for a comprehensive video. It's certainly worth checking out for a trip to the South Coast. Are there disabled trained lifeguards?
