I had a very strange glitch happen while I was cleaning said Thunderhawk, I was standing on the tall scaffolding...I got curious as to what would happen if I pressed down to lower the Attack Wing. As I did that the Wing descended down, then for no reason what so ever I fall through map into space and the character starts spazzing out, couldn't use the power washer at all and on top of all of that...I was at 99% complete. Luckily I saved the game before that happened though.

I dealt with a glitch on this level too, though not as severe as yours. One of my scaffoldings basically got stuck in the wing while I moved it around and then I could no longer pick it up. Happy you were able to get around your issue. I ended up just using the extra scaffolding for the rest of the job!
