Watch out for stickers that say pacific cycles or “not for doing tricks”
He pretty much got it all but a couple things I had to deal with was the inside pawls of the drivers was broken but jimmy back in the cassette so when your pedaling fast you will skip gears also inside of the tires some people don’t use proper rim strips so might pop a tire jumping off something also chains people will put so much stress and break links and won’t replace the chain will take a chain from a kids bikes and your gonna notice the gaping when goin over the driver and sprocket last thing fork bolts

Loose ball bearing are cheap,. O need to get a new wheel. Also there should be no smoothness difference between loose and sealed! This is an idea people have about sealed being better in every way lol
can anyone tell me what cog to use on a 60tt on a bmx for speed and lil bit of hill where i living
You have a 60 tooth sprocket? Biggest I’d ever seen in bmx was like 46T. 44\16 was the go to, so that’s 2.75 teeth up front for every tooth in the back. Nowadays I think 25/9 is standard, and that’s still roughly 2.75 to 1, so you’d want either 21 or 22. Good luck, I think 18 is the biggest rear cog I’ve heard of. You might need to get a custom cog made, and it would have to be a cassette style.

@@jadonmckenzie5994 standard bmx gearing is 2.75 teeth to 1, so if you want that gearing use 19 teeth. the hill climbing part is throwing me off, i'm not sure how much lighter you'd want. if you find a bike with gearing you like, divide the number of teeth on the front by the number of teeth in the back to get the ratio (x to 1) then take that number (the x) and divide 52 teeth, or however many teeth you want, by that "x" number and whatever the answer is tells you how many teeth you'll need.
