দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ তুলে মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের নিষেধাজ্ঞার বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখার পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন ট্রান্সপারেন্সি ইন্টারন্যাশনাল বালাদেশ- টিআইবি'র নির্বাহী পরিচালক ড. ইফতেখারুজ্জামান। তার ধারণা, দেশটির কাছে কোন প্রমাণ থাকতে পারে। আর সুজন সম্পাদক বদিউল আলম বলছেন, এ ধরনের পরিস্থিতি সামনে যেন না হয়, সেজন্য সরকারের তরফ থেকে আগাম পদক্ষেপ নেয়া যেতে পারে।
