- Often I have a bit of a trouble with this fight. Apparently druids can snooze through it :)
This time we shall give Spore Druid a go. Druids are a class I have extremely little experience with, so we shall see how it goes. I did an early wipe at the very first fight outside the Grove, so we are off to a rough start. This is technically run 2, but since the first ended so fast I don't really count it.

It always cracks me up how the mobs just run into the spike growth, utter a "ugh", "ogh" every few steps and then simply die. 😂
Smol brain :)
Oblivion behavior 😂
Rugan: gives away the chest
Rugan: gets tortured for stealing the chest (or something, idk never got it myself)
Rugan: surprised Pikachu face
AND HE WALK OUT THROUGH THE SPIKE GROWTH I CAN'T
Spike Growth is the new HoH, especially with those void bulbs :D
I have questions about his eye-sights :)
Man, Shovel must feel like a worm. Always the sacrificial bait...
Yeah. Best summon though!
@@FriendlyLich indeed. Even though warlocks can get a Quasit, it just ain't the same.
I get Shovel as soon as I can on every run. Even as a warlock
Here for my obligatory "spikegrowth OP" comment
Nail-biting, Blind has ended many a run for my recently
I usually have a lot rougher time with this fight
This is where I lost my first honour mode. Never thought about doing it from inside the cave
Ouch! My first was to the Blighted Village barn if I remember correctly :D
@@FriendlyLich that's really a hard fight when you're low level, specially if you are solo
@@isabelfernandes7737 It's a tough one for sure. Specially when she enrage and bonks you hard
Meat grinder go BRRRRR
The halo only works when you reach act 3 where your save dc goes to the sky.
I take it that Olly died from that Gnoll arrow. So when Rugan gets his I will weep not.
spike growth + lightning charges goes so unbelievably hard
Agreed!
What a nice strategy. I always get Flind on my side and never do it any other way, don't like to risk it. After that the fight is smooth sailing.
Thanks! I actually have never gotten Flind on my side, didn't know it was possible until quite recently :D
Hats off to Spike Growth, "You the real MVP!"
I love that spell so much.
It is so so strong. At least early game!
Wouldn't breaking concentration at 8:41 have guaranteed his survival?
Oh 100%, I just didn't realize he would yolo through it 😅
Here for my obligatory Knight of Sporamat comment also ty for the video!
I've been toying with "Infected Mushroom Druid", but Knight of Sporamat might be better!
Legos on the floor spell is hilarious.
I love that people call it legos :D
Rugan: "Leave the heroics to them that don't value their own skin."
Turns around and sees Miran
"Oh, shit, I mean uhh...."
Doin well! Keep it up!
Thanks!
Yes the Halo kill!
It finally happened!
lol those spikes really mess them up! Can't wait to see it on higher levels!
Rip n' tear!
Why is it called Flind the warlord? It's not a warlord. It's a Flind.
Here's what the bg3 wiki says: "The Flind is a hostile gnoll warlord in The Risen Road Cave just west of The Risen Road Waypoint during Act One. She is unique among gnolls for having become part fiend, thus not counting as a humanoid.
Title: Gnoll Warlord
Race: Gnoll"
Honestly I'm not sure about anything anymore.
It is a flind and a warlord, but writing "The Flind, the Gnoll Warlord" sounds kinda dumb.
@@MoltenBro I have always thought Flind was a name
Just found this in the wiki: "Flind" is not the creature's name, but is actually a superior type of gnoll that is physically more powerful and vicious than their lesser cousins. As such, the Flind has the race Gnoll Flind."
You're 100% correct!
I learned something today! 😮
