Kyoku actually does 4 hits with her A1 if her weaken is placed as the 3rd debuff. You can see that at the start of the run, that makes her in some teams even better with giant slayer if the team doesn't focus so much on placing tons of debuffs =D

Before I got an UK setup going Kyoku was my key for the jump to UNM with a three key. I had her, Geo, Tatura, High K and Apo. It usually did 25 to 30m but I couldn’t drag it to a two key.

This is so similar to the team I’m building. I’m running skullcrusher at 171, kyoku at 175, hotatsu at 173, venomage at 245 and sepulcher at 239. To make affinity friendly. Can’t wait to finish it up! Great video deadwood!
I currently run Kyoku as lead, with Valkyrie, Tatura, Ma'shalled, and either Ninja or Geomancer for burns. On most days they work fine. This gave me some good ideas, DWJ. Thanks. BTW, I named it the "Hooters" comp- there's hot, wings, and hotties. Run with that.
experimenting with a modified version using Tuhamarak instead of Hotatsu for a cleanser/Inc def (not sure how much speed boost will throw things off) then adding Godseeker instead of Tatura to extend it Allard give oh crap support.
Ive been using kyoku for a while since the guaranteed champ event. Im using her with dutchess, demytha ninja and occult brawler. Easy 1 key in NM, not sure if I could swap to make it better or go to UNM yet but it works for me now.
Just pulled her and I’m currently using the White Whale Lydia with extender comp. My question is, would she be better to add than Toragi? I’m currently doing a 1 key 100mil+ damage on all difficulties on all affinities

early in the video here but i have urticata and scabrius but cant find much out there on either, i feel they can both be worth taking to 60 fer CB. and is urticata better than frozen banshee?? at lvl 40 as well scabrius hits freaking hard!
I'm a little lost but maybe you can help why wouldn't you want your martyr to go at 191 speed so that way she can get in tune automatically with the Counterattack on turn one?
My Team I an building is: Deacon, Kyoku, Toragi, Grizzled Jarl and Geomancer. Should I use Deacon's Aura and then lower their speeds down by 19%? What speed range would that be? Thanks!
auras only boost by whatever the base stats are so be mindful of that if you choose to go that route. For example, if you have a champ running at 200 speed from gear and factions guardians but the base speed of that champ is 100 and you’re using a 19% speed aura, it would only increase by 19 speed for that champ, not 38

With my team above with deacon's Aura, if I am doing a 1:1 Ratio, instead of 171-179 speed, then I would lower it down by approximately 17-20 speed for each of them because of the aura. Based on each individual champ? So the new speeds would be somewhere between 150-162 or so to still keep it at a 1:1? Sound about right?
@@moneyninja3852 no problem, use the calculator to double and triple check but while building your champs, make sure you multiply their BASE speeds by .19 in a regular calculator and then you can add that number to the base speed and build from there. Let me know if you need any more help!
this comps really are underrated. i try to get ppl into unkill teams when i can but otherwise i get them straight into an ally protect team. deadwood i sent you an email recently with all the speeds and info on how to make a budget unkillable +counter+ ally protect team since i helped a clan mate out and found the tune for them. would love for you to showcase it and what kind of dmg t can put out wit the best gear available

Really hoping to see her in an UNM double ally build. Something like Iank did. Riho, toragi, brogni, geo, kyoku (Ian used tyrant before she was released) also suggested urost as another option for poison stuff.

So I just had a crazy idea for a 4:3 Kyoku: Kyoku at 4:3 (237) Fahrakin 1:1 (177) Fahrakin 1:1 (176) Venomage 1:1 (174) Geomancer 1:1 (172) Venomage and Geomancer give the whole team a blanket sort of protection up to 30% mitigation (known by now I bet). That's effectively like stalwart levels of protection that applies to the stun hit also, not just AOE's. Fahrakin has that 20% additional damage mitigation, which should help with the stun hits, combined that is 50% for him, which is effectively like having a passive Ally Protec that is always on. Two Fahrakins so. Then Kyoku at 4:3 speeds to always have that block damage buff on for the stun hit. Of course I load her up with crit and crit damage. That ally protect she has on everyone else is even MORE protection so that effectively they will all have at least, on paper, 80% mitigation. I doubt the game will let this fly, so there must be some sort of minimum damage that gets through, but this is a lot of damage mitigation. Kyoku will have (for this test) that Instinct Gear and perception, with that lifedrinker mastery in case her life does go down below 50%. Everyone else will be in lifesteal gear, since there is so much damage mitigation and there are two ally attack champions they should always be topped off. Can't wait should be fun.
Ah I realize what you mean by 1:1. Gonna try to do Kyoku now at 1:1. She needs block damage up to nuklify damage from those AOE's. The passive damage mitigation should help Fahrakin(s) tank those stun hits.
Well I had to revamp some things. The team has gone through multiple iterations, but here's what I got for 1 key nightmare and brutal: Lead: Kyoku (212)(relentless) Fahrakin (246)(relentless) Rugnor Goldgleam (159)(crt dmg) Whisper (171)(relentless) Godseeker Aniri (159)(relentless) Godseeker is the stun target. Whisper and Rugnor both capable of 300k damage, Whisper gets about 150k to 500k every time she goes. Fatman used to be stun target, but I figured I'd up the damage if he went as fast as he could without getting targeted. About 45 million to 50 million on void nightmare, spirit and force nightmare. Not sure about magic. I don't have the gear to scale this up to Ultra Nightmare, but I think the same format with greater speeds proportionate to UNM would work fine. Making Godseeker the stun target was a great idea, and Kyoku's passive does great damage mitigation when the Clan Boss AOE crits.
I have kyoku, brogni, martyr, geomancer, and godseeker. Very mid-game gear, do Nm 1key and 2key Unm. Adding her to the team totally changed the team from 3key Nm before her. Amazing champ. Order is godseeker, geo, kyoku, martyr, then brogni. Brogni is the stun target and when is he killed is just revived by Godseeker’s passive and skill. Speeds all around 200. All auto from the beginning and all affinities.
@@jasonbell791 I tried and wasted a lot of resources with no improvement of my teams damage. From my experience this kind of team requires an advanced account and high level gear relative to where I am.

Not to say you don’t want that, just that the 20 speed could be put into other stats instead.

Oh it may kill her, but will try Selfless Defender Mastery also.
If I can, I'll try to steer the stun hits to one of the Fahrakins. They will have minimum 50% damage mitigation.
Oh forgot clan boss tries to avoid hitting her with block damage buff on so that's great for helping guide the stuns toward the Fahrakins

Pretty sure with just Brogni and 3 buffs extenders you can 1 key pretty easy.
