MSIX looks to be a rebranded app-v essentially. With so many limitations, I doubt if it will be used widely for regular enterprise desktop applications.

why is the installation of plugins is failed for notepad++ in MSIX package ??
Because they are installed in Program Files folder and MSIX do not support that.
