I grew up listening to this group in all the eras of their career i remember not liking EV3 when dawn left then i got used to the group without but waa glad when she came back although it was short lived unsung needs to profile them.
This is my favorite girl group. So elegant and talented. Some in the group let that go to there heads. If they had of stayed grounded, they would be still making great music.
It was tough seeing this group have to "go through it". Sadly, it happens to a lot of good groups. As far as I'm concerned, there will never be another female group to match them. These ladies were the total package...great voices, great wardrobe, great moves and they are all fine as hell. The young ladies now have no role models to speak of (J. Cole)!!! So much of their stuff is autotuned and there is just an utter lack of talent. These Divas will be forever Number One as far as girl groups go. Yes, even better than The Supremes and Destiny's Child put together. Maxine, my queen!
+Breanna Ward it wasn't just about money. it was also about egos. You can't just put people together and have "a group". A group represents "1" and that's what people don't understand. These ladies weren't friends before the music. They were people who were thrown together trying to get the job done
Money was a major problem. When people are cheated out of their money, sparks will fly. If it is egotistical to speak up about being cheated, I say stay egotistical. Also, when decisions are not made in the best interest of the group but to accommodate a love interest, you're likely to end up with hurt feelings and not as much as you deserve.
****Where are they now?? (Updated)**** Cindy, Terry, Rhona are still touring as the current lineup of En Vogue Maxine released her first single "Didn't I", and coming soon her album Dawn is recording her second album -- (Dawn & Max sometimes do shows together) Amanda is starting her solo career. here is Amanda's youtube channel (channel/UCPrUA1Yppwx0qb13IRasPXg)
tnc del a lot of people including the biggest destiny's child fan there ever was (myself) thought so 😂😂😂 but it wasn't just dc they were better than tlc too and 702, maybe not xscape those girls had harmonies for days but they were vocally superior than any of the popular females groups not just destiny's child even the spice girls.
tnc del en vogue was the first female group i ever became intrigued with as a young girl I would look at their videos the beautiful fashions and hairstyles they wore the colors and locations of their videos and wish i were old enough to be them in 1990 when that first album came i loved it when i heard it especially don't go i used to sing along with my boombox off key as hell in my own little world i was young as heck and don't why i wanted to hear that kind of music at that age but i am glad i knew who they were before they became huge so by the time funky divas came out oh boy two memorable videos especially free your mind with the badass rock guitars and runway fashion show in those tall patent leather boots pushed up boobs for days & wild hair it was my shit i really wanted to be them in the something he could feel clip...those red dresses inspired by the movie sparkle i think one of my other favorite femske grouos dc who came later copied those dresses in cater 2 u video i loved all the other groups after envogue although some of them may not have been as vocally gifted as these ladies were in high school it was all about destiny's child i wanted to be them too lol😂😂😂 my least favorite female group was 3lw because they were too cookie cutter for me i liked xscape tlc 702 blaque destiny's child more than i ever did 3lw because they were edgier , swv were my girls too i liked the spice girls even kut klose , total and 3lw less than any of them 3lw had only 1 good singer #memories.
tnc del the sweet charity inspired never gonna get it (my lovin') with cindy dancing her pregnant ass off looking glamorous as hell had me in awe those leotards were gorgeous and so were those silver minis where they murdered that runway model strut to a tee #legends...
Cindy, Terry, and Rhona are currently on tour. Maxine is now a solo artist. Amanda is also about to release a solo CD. Idk what Dawn is doing or the ladies Max used for EV to the Max. I do no that both Allison and Maria where solo acts prior to joining with Max.
Some of this is wrong. Starting from the beginning to the end. * 0:09 - 0:11 Rhona Bennett is no where in that picture. From left to right: that is Cindy, Terry, and Amanda * Rhona joined the group in 2003, but left in 2005 after the return of Dawn. She rejoined in 2006 to 2008, after Dawn returned again. * Dawn divorced Andre Allen in 2007. Dawn is also working on a new album. * Maxine has a single called "Didn't I", also about to release a new album *@1:55 that is not Terry. that is Maxine.
Funky divas was the second studio album but the third they released (born to sing, remix to sing, funky divas, remix album to funky divas which featured what man ev3, masterpiece theater, soul flower in addition to the Christmas album) Dawn n Maxine formed a group orignially en vogue but later changed it due to conflict n legal action from Terry n Cindy who also perform under the en vogue name, Dawn was also featured in Batman forever n on the firm's "firm biz" song
Well the stats speaks volumes. Most of them did solo projects, and most of them did not do as well as they did as a group.. En Vogue belong together not like Destiny's Child where it was all about her. She was the only one who really "made it" solo.
Serenity Peace that is strictly the fans doing themselves if they chose to support that artist's music other groups tried solo ventures tlc t- boz had that song about touching herself and it did not sell well plenty of groups had members do solo albums that went wood lol.
Nice video but you left out that Maxine left the group also. Maxine and Dawn are a duo now and their group name is Heirs to the throne..... their album is coming 2013 :)

Damn! Ever since I saw them the first time (and of course, heard their songs) as a teen, I created this fantasy for myself, to find me such a black girl for a girlfriend, and if she's as awesome as I think she'd be, I'll fuckin' marry her! NOw, many years later, I'm in my mid 30's, still/again single, had many (beautiful) girlfriends - but none of them black - and I'm still living with this fantasy in my mind...
Not put together too well. and slightly outdated... Both Dawn and Maxine had left the group around 2010, and Rhona can back into the group and had a small record with like 6 songs, right before Maxine left. Terry, Cindy and Rhona, are still in the group touring, but nothing new for music wise from them.
Beautiful women with lovely voices. My favorite song by them is Don't Let Go.
Right now their song "Rocket" is doing well on the Urban AC charts. (#10)
They were the Tightest
Love these ladies!!! So classy and talented.
I grew up listening to this group in all the eras of their career i remember not liking EV3 when dawn left then i got used to the group without but waa glad when she came back although it was short lived unsung needs to profile them.
I hate to not hear them no more. I wish we could these ladies voices is great. I loveem

Yas🙌🏾 money is the root of all evil. Once that money comes in, it makes so many problems.

The Marvelettes were BETTER than the Supremes (and sexier)......Envgue and them share talent and HOTTIENESS....
Beautiful lady's of soul, looking forward to meeting miss dawn some day.

Right? Lol
I agree, also there was no mention of Amanda. You should and album cover with her featured on the cover.

They are back together ! Watch their new video . Rocket
RHONA WHO??? SHE IS NOT APART OF THE GROUP
Dont forget she was also in juice
1. I don't think that is Cindy @1:32, I think that is Maria Freeman (from EV to the Max)
2. that is not Terry, that is Maxine @2:00
3. Dawn toured with them, but left the group because of the way business was being done.
****Where are they now??****
Cindy, Terry, Rhona are touring as the current lineup of En Vogue
Maxine recently began "En Vogue to the Max" with Alison Carney and Maria Freeman
Dawn did the show R&B Divas: LA
Amanda is apart of 3 Day Crush
When they where showing the Boi's of the group well the last picture in NOT TERRY it's DAWN, its should be corrected
No that was Maxine. Not Dawn or Terry( Which it should've been Terry).
Exactly!!!

Maxine left the group in 2000 to take care of her daughter, then she came back to the group.
Well right now watch them at new single: "ROCKET" Wow all of them are so fit and sexy now'

Funky divas??? You mean HOTTIE DIVAS......
They should only sing for the Lord and GOD Jesus Christ. That is why GOD created music - to glorify and praise Him.
Rhona NOT attractive At All.
Rhona NOT broke at all.
Both Dawn and Maxine filed for bankruptcy.
