I cannot believe I have to say this, but if you comment something along the lines of “Does it have loli/shota/p-- in it?” you are blocked from my channel. No questions asked. At that point, you’re not pointing fingers at Tsukushi, but accusing the author of Made from Fortunes of these things. That will not stand. I will not tolerate comments trying to accuse Grinchy of drawing such things. I have had to remove two comments already and the video hasn’t even been up for a full 24 hours.
God this is inspiring me to pick up my MiA fanfic that I’d abandoned for over a year now… it’s hard to stay inspired for a fandom that receives content so infrequently, but getting nuggets of fan content like these that are so detailed and clearly have so much love put into it just… gives me life and I love it
Despite MiA getting infrequent updates, the fandom is very active if you know where to look! I'm part of a few Discord servers dedicated to MiA and they're all bustling! Grinchy set up one for Made From Fortunes if you're curious. Also yes, revisit that fanfic!! I hope MFF inspires you to continue writing it!
1:58 I’ve tried copying it too, but I want to mix it with the eyes and color palette of NGNL and the noses of SDS but here’s what I’ve learned from criticism and just just asking questions This pertains to drawing children in Made in abyss’s art style as ratios are the hardest to be consistent with 1. Children are 4-6 heads tall infants are 2.5-4 2. The shoulders of children should not get out past their faces and by exstention. Their arms should also placed below their head, their chest should be 2-3 shoulder width wide from the frontas well detailed noses aren’t necessary however, the eyes ears nose and mouth should all be in the lower half of the face of the character 3. No, this is not necessary but I find it easier to have a negative disposition towardss chunkier characters as a lot of meat, and the beast characters are slender even Ozen they usually take up more space in their armor and balance is achieved through additional hair, baggy pants, but you know that already based off of what I’m saying This pertains to drawing adults 1. They should be 7 to 9 heads tall, unless their Bondrewd or Ozen then 10-11 is more appropriate 2. Most of the facial features and ears are still in the lower half of the face, but the highest should be smaller and the mouths more defined 3. The shoulders should jut out just pass the heads the chest should be 3-4 shoulder widths wide but you know if you wanna draw something slightly different go for it This help me draw significantly. Better MIA style characters although it’s not a perfect replica but it 1:58 the height and general space that they occupy is right, but eyes positioning of the mouth, and the proportions of the arms to the body is why this doesn’t give invading the best vibe still good art
