The advice you're giving is key! I've worked in fashion PR years ago, around when blogging started to become popular and bloggers like Susie Bubble were being invited to shows. Like you said, you have to engage with the brands now and not when you want to be invited to shows.

Queen Monroe, I have stubborn skin too and I use baby water wipes plain and the one that’s has extract in it to wipe my face and makeup off , secondly I use my Aloe Vera juice gel and lastly wash my face and body with African black soap. Sometimes I put my cocoa butter on my face at night to absorb in my skin for my dark spots from acne. Enjoy your day,just sharing my great ritual night tips.❤😊

About the lip gloss…I use a lip pencil or lip stick and top with a lip gloss to get the gloss to last. The gloss is an enhancer when I do a full face. If I’m just running errands and not doing a full face I just use gloss to brighten up my face.

Oh Monroe when you shared that the beginning of the year was a slow starter for you and the “funk” was real. I too unfortunately had a terrible beginning of 2023. I caught pneumonia, my Father passed, then my Mother caught pneumonia as well. I didn’t have time to even absorb what was happening as I had to make funeral plans, while taking care of myself and then caring emotionally for the whole family. Thank God for doing what I love; which is singing jazz and dressing up. Your videos take me away for those stolen moments and I believe as long as we go forward all will be well♥️Take care
