I didn't like the beginning of the story.
No educated man would have put up with that crap, but he finally redeemed himself in the end. He should have gotten her grant money and the book money.
That is some big facts right there because honestly no self-respecting man is going to just let his wife just walk all over him like he is nothing in order him to just put up with it until her thesis is done! Honestly I was pissed off the more I listened. Especially when she told her story of how she stupidly went to the place that her mother ran away from just for a thesis.

It blows my mind that it took five months to investigate his obviously pregnant wife's activity during her two month trip. She wouldn't deny infidelity, she completely revamped her entire personality, and would not touch him, and he took over five months to do any digging? Wtf?
Like, how in the hell do you go five months without realizing your WIFE is pregnant? Did you not hug her? Did she never walk in front of a sunlit window? Was it not painfully obvious, even through a tent dress?

If I may suggest I think the revenge on the cheating wifes should be harsher. In most of the stories they get away pretty much unscathed compared to the APs and in my opinion their responsibility is greater in the betrayal.

It always drives me nuts in rl and in these stories when a person tells the other person, “you hurt me”. They already know that. They knew it from the beginning when they chose to cheat. Letting them know it is just reinforcing the control they have over your emotions

Not gonna lie, this story was disturbing. Very well done, but disturbing. The disturbing part is that I can see this actually happen. Stockholm Syndrome is a real thing. And the fact she was proud of it. If its ok with you at LLC I would like to make a continuation of this story. Not gonna lie, kinda got to me a bit

While the revenge in this story is great (It's something every betrayed spouse would want to do to their wayward husband/ AP) it was long-winded and a bit repetitive...Most men with any self respect would've bailed allot sooner than the protagonist did

Not sure why people don't listen to these stories for what they are, interesting. These are fictitious, and the revenge that these listeners crave is fleeting in these stories. I listen to pass the time of day while I'm working. Thankfully I'm happily married, and even if I wasn't, I wouldn't be looking to Fiction to alleve my hurt. Good stories LLC.

I came close to stopping at the 34:00 point. The writer of the story spent TOOOOO much time on story development. In all honesty I will attempt to finish the story, but right now I don't know! One of my executive assistants who worked for me about 20 years ago was born in Short Creek Utah sometime in the 1960s. Even today last I heard she is a member of the LDS Church. Her Maternal Grand Father was able to get both her and her mom out with the help of 2 US Marshals. As of the last conversation we had her mom still has nightmares.
