You don't have to go to a shipyard to start building a ship, you just need to be in a system with a shipyard in it, press "B" and it will automatically generate the first block for you.
I consider myself a Beginner, but not on the level of a Begginer. Thats too high of a level for me. Awesome video mate. Its really hard to find videos like this.
5 months late and accidentally hit the down thumb. Lol. Felt the need to clarify that it was a finger slip on the phone and I wasn't disliking the comment. 😂
Hope you continue with the series, hard to find contemporary playthroughs of Avorion. Gonna be going through the DLC questlines and the new Behemoths? Happy New Year :)
I played a run previous to my current run in an Easy world, but I got some way in but I'm not sure how much of that I retained :) So I've started a new run, this time on Normal so still easier than expert :) I've made my way to (blue ore), and I went to buy it with ore but it said nope you must have the ore on your ship :( So I will switch to one of my two miners that has a mining captain and go see if mining the ore with that ship gives better results than mining with my combat captain. I've been trying to run delivery missions for the rep but it's so slow, well then run takes like 5 minutes or less, then find a new run and do that one and I get so few rep points, but maybe if I find an asteroid or two I could get my rep up. Maybe I will see how that goes. I would just kill pirates but they are killing me :( So a good ship that uses Naonite would be a nice tip, I imagine if I watch enough videos I will get that tip :)
An alternative to search through asteroids is to use the [TAB] button or [CTRL]+[TAB] to cycle through the areas objects.
Man, you make some of the coolest looking ships I've seen. I'm pretty new to the game, but I've never seen designs as sleek as yours before.
I actually did not build these ships and unfortunately the author who made the combat ship I use has removed it from the workshop.

Yes there are a lot of things covered in this series and I plan on doing the finale very soon.
So for the names of the factions i believe they are randomized from a pool of names from the original backers 😂
Yes I do find them to be a bit odd, funny, and very interesting to say the least at time.
