My theory. The RB transfer of Gvardiol last year was very leaky. Fabrizio Romano knew everything about it, except when it inexplicably stalled. Maybe City just battened down the hatches? Olmo is an extremely good - Pep style - player so I'd be amazed if City were not interested.
I think we should sign both Bruno Guimaraes and Dani Olmo just incase if Kalvin Philip, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne leave and be their replacement

People want Ederson and Alvarez because there is a shortage of quality in those positions ! How many “ finishers “ out there in the age bracket . Alvarez has Copa America , Libertades , FA cup , premier league , and champions league and is 24 - this is a generational talent and you have to keep him. If he wants to go, got to be £120 m bracket . Rice , Grealish , Bellingham , Mbappe , got to be in that frame !

Two different sources saying two different things. As stated in the video, I trust Fabrizio Romano’s information more than Di Marzio’s right now and Fab Rom says City not interested.
I think Alex Crooks (TalkSport) said Olmo was no-go to City (previous JSGC vid). Romano is reliable, but not perfect. He did misreport the timing of the Gvardiol transfer last year.
