Found out that subispeed buys from them... Not surprised
SUBISPEED V2 REDLINE SEQUENTIAL LED HEADLIGHTS - 2015+ *WRX / 2015-2017 *STI
I was scared to buy these because of this flaw!! I’ve only had them for 15 months just out of the year warranty!!! I’m So upset and I don’t want this to happen with you guys. Does anyone have a fix? Anyone else having these problems?

this is why i love watching older videos on products i am looking to purchase. issues dont usually show up immediate, but over a little span of time will reveal themselves. Glad i am seeing these real world reviews and didn't just jump on the purchase. they look great, but i dont think the cost to purchase and time spent to install and muck with if it starts doing condensation is worth it. Granted, drilling a little hole at the bottom should do the trick if all the seals are good. Some time i've seen that headlights build condensation due to the sealant being almost perfect seal, yet not perfect, so either getting that perfect seal or giving it air will do the trick.
Yeah it’s a hard Decision they are super expensive and should not have that issue. Luckily they did send me a new set that I got under warranty. But still it shouldn’t of happened and I had to take them out and put the new ones back in.

I want to get these headlights too but I’m scared of condensation so I think my plan will be just to use some clear drying caulking to seal all the edges

Had the same thing happen... I was livid. I emailed them and they wouldn’t send me a new set. I sent pictures and everything. I took the front bumper off and drilled tiny holes in the bottom to allow them to drain. Then resealed the outside and the holes. Haven’t had issues since. They are not worth the money.
Inspekta6 yeah man it sucks for the amount they charge for them. I got mine modded they’re really dope now! Check out my Lights and trim install video. You can see the new setup.

Michael Alva hey man unfortunately I know a lot of people who had the same issue. I had mine modded and made a video about that too.
Run a tube in there from the back with a minifan hardwired, it will keep air flowing. That will be coming soon. Recirculation.
Scott Tucker Jr. nice idea man thank you. But if you look at my other video the grille and new lights installed you’ll see how they look. I had them modded from @sinister.rertowerkz he did great no issues and a lot more heat with all the added lights. He made a lot of breather vents. Thanks for the tip I appreciate you bud
I was having the same problems (v1) after arguing with coplus back & forth without compensate 3 years ago, i got stuck dumb fak with nothing I can do to this date, I'm into modding hoping someone might hit me some know-how... Btw, I feel the pain mate, it sucks, lesson learnt!!
Fyi: Coplus was Taiwanese base, I thought they supposed to be far ahead of Chinese...

Yep of course happy to help. My tails are also from subispeed and they actually make those. I do get some moisture in them at certain times but then after a few days it will disappear.
@@KABAMFPV wow I wasn’t aware the tail lights did that too. IMO these cost too much for that to be happening. I’d hate to install these and the have to take my bumper off again a few months down the line just to wipe the condensation out. Thank you again!

Preparation H check out my last video. They are modded now and are simply amazing.
Can we also talk about how poorly these headlights fit? I installed mine in December and the gaps have been bothering me since. My passenger side projector is crooked in the housing and it drives me nuts. For $1200 these should be of way better quality. I’m going back to stock.
messmeister92 This is true. I had a fight with my driver side one being crooked. These lights are too damn expensive to have all these issues with them. Thank you for the support
Shawn Hunt I reinstalled my stock headlights yesterday and they snapped right into place, and are flush as if I never touched them. I did install OLM MOAB LED bulbs for the high beam and DRL and while I miss the C-lights, it’s nice having functional lighting again. I also feel like I see the road better with the stock headlights. I think they do a much better job of focusing and directing light.
If I had to do it again, I would skip the Subispeed lights.
messmeister92 the stocks go with the body line better too. I agree for the price they are i would just get the stocks modded.

@Shawn Hunt. Hey I know this is an old post and I’m a little off subject. I just bought these headlights for my 2018 STI. What year is your STI? And how did you get your turn signals to work? I can’t get my turn signals to work properly. I want to use the sequential turns but I’m dealing with hyperflash even with the LED adapter provided by Subispeed with the headlights. I love the look of these on my car and am really trying to get them to work properly. Hope you can help. Thanks.

Recently had the same issue I have had mine for less than a year however I emailed them and they sent me a possible point of issue and wanted me to check it out I’ll let you know as soon as I find out exactly what the cause is and likely how to fix it if possible

just need an oven and bake for 15-30 min at 200
Justin Bell I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. I actually just got them back from getting modded and re sealed! Next video I’ll have them on! I’m really excited for these, he did a great job.

Man I'm so mad at subispeed. They basically stole my money. Only sent 2 of the 4 items I ordered. I will never order from them again. Import image racing is a much better company.

@@KABAMFPV subispeed says the rest of my items are 3 weeks out. Conviently that's after the refund window. Honestly ill never buy from them again. The level of unprofessionalism is absurd. They basically steal your money immediately and have loopholes to keep you on the leash for months on end. Every item I've bought from import image racing has arrived super fast with great customer service. And you earn points to go with your next purchases. I spent 2 grand and received a good chunk off my next item. That being said screw subispeed. Never again! Thanks for the reply!

Shawn Hunt Sorry for the late reply, So far the only thing I have on my 2019 WRX is the access port, cob intake and Tomei single exit exhaust. I’m thinking of getting a Catless J pipe.

I have a really easy fix for this issue, the fog Bezels are also know for this to happen and had several replacements sent here in the UK. I finally resolved the issue without opening anything and have not had any problems since - also converted another one for my friend. Give me a message.

What's the fix without opening? I tried drying with a heat gun it works for Maybe 25 mins then the lights condense even worse than before..

Bro that sux especially for the price you pay for the V2. I purchased a set of V1 from subispeed and the same thing is happening to me too 15 months later and on same side! Damn shame!

@@KABAMFPV I'm in a mix tune I can use 91 93 or e85 w/o tune change but with this tune is a bit more complicated to keep the car stable in cold starts for driving damn is awesome

Hey man go to bbb and look where a guy had this issue and they sent him a new set and had a hidden 3 year warranty
Yeah I went to bbb and make a claim! Lol they finally sent me a new set and I sold them for $800. Used that money to mod the old ones they’re so sick now man. If you haven’t seen them look at my installing carbon fiber trim video. I show the lights in that video. Some others too. I love them now and they’re sealed right now.

The BBB is to let the consumer know if the business is really legit and aids in conflict resolution; however, they are more passive than active...just a rating
