Some caves definitely have safe drinking water that has been naturally filtered but the cave I worked at had a huge entrance which didn’t allow for any filtering so if you drank the cave water you’d be drinking a bunch of nasty stuff because there’s no good way for a lot of the water to be filled before making its way into the cave
Nope. If you go to Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago, you can see plenty of stalactites that have formed under the street. Those streets have not been there for tens of thousands of years.
