after years of watching this i finally brewed it last September. it's still aging in the glass carboys. bottled and carbonated 1L for preview sake - not very stout, more like a heavy IPA. The color is more dark brown than black, i think they withheld an ingredient.

1) Wann werden die 700g Zucker zugegeben? 2) Kann man nach Kochende auch wieder eine Teil abnehmen und vor dem Reifen wieder beimengen oder solltem an hier lieber mit Zucker arbeiten (für die CO2-Bildung)?

I have a few Questions... 1. You Boil exact 1 Hour? 2. You left your Oak Chips for 3 Months in it, and after that you remove them and let the Beer age for 6 Months? so its drinkable in 9 Months? Thansk for Help

where did you get the extra volume from looked like you carboy was half full after boil then all the way full when the yeast was doing its thing?
