LSV! Huge fan! I was your Round 1 opponent. Sorry I played a little slow. I was legit nervous and excited when I realized I was playing you! You drafted a sweet one. Was a blast to watch your commentary against me as you figured out what my deck was, especially when I lead with two basic plains in Game 1. I drafted a spicy one too! The main is a hedge against a variety of match ups with more great sideboard options. I ended up winning my two rounds after yours! Love the content. Keep it coming! Your deck looked really sweet :) cool to hear your perspective! Totally understandable about the slow play against LSV, that was actually my first thought when I noticed you were taking your time.
@@ArianJafariTheMagnificent Thanks! Ha, my heart was pumping! Trying to be mindful of counters etc. I figured he was more of a control deck, so I was debating if or when I jam my spells. My Game 1 was a slower start, and after he tapped out to play the Dynamo I knew I had to go for the Mind Twist even though it wasn't for his full hand. I had Teferi, Council's Judgement, and Banishing Light in hand, but I needed to do something more proactive before letting him untap with all that mana!
this is the most understandable and assessable vintage cube video that I have seen in a long time. I haven't been playing all that long but my friends have a vintage proxy cube and its great to hear opinions on cards and what the concepts behind playing them are.
WOW what a draft. I think that is the greatest amount of difference between one round to the next I have ever seen in Magic. Looking at #9; it's even shorter! Keep it coming LSV, I can only hope that I do not take this rapid flow of sweet content for granted before it goes away.
That first match what's against alternate parallel universe LSD I could just picture him nefariously rubbing his hands together and he kept saying yes a good good, oh yeah and he Parts his hair on the other side. Lol
This was what every person that forces their draft around their first 2 picks of their draft dreams of. (Not implying LSV forced, just that it worked out)
man i wish i could see more games with that deck. All it was missing was like sol ring, gilded lotus, mindslaver, tinker, blightsteel and it actually would have looked like a constructed deck.... Honestly just mindslaver or tinker blightsteel was all you really need
I can remember when mono-artifacts was the deck to beat back in the day, and got super-excited to see this draft . Unfortunately, seeing lsv get crushed by planeswalkers in the first match made me realize how greedy Wizards have become. 😢💰😥
Oooh, I built an artifact deck a couple of days ago, with 19 artifacts, mishra workshop, black lotus and Emri. went 2-1, lost to Channel-Ulamog T3 game 1 and game 3 he killed my Metalworker T3 with Ataraka just in time to prevent me from playing Ulamog T4. Was a blast. Lotus-+ Emri is fun.
Never noticed while the borrower was in exile... it reads “on an adventure in colored text” kinda cool. I wonder MTGO does that with all the adventure cards
LSV forcing storm with Empty the Cheons 12th pick..... Excuse me with the entire match 1..... No duals, 5 color signet things with LD combos? M2G1.... Oh, this is why Mishra's Workshop is in the Cube. I don't think Round 3 included any plays that one could consider to be MtG as Richard Garfield intended. Thoroughly good stuff LSV, always enjoy Vintage Cube Season.
Somehow this deck did exactly what I expected it too... almost no interaction, very few threats - of course it'll just sit on a bunch of mana without any good outs...
Alright, I just got to the Upheaval pick and I think I know for sure why the video is so short Edit: If either that g1 opponent was faster or you had a less horrible 10 draws this video would've been like 35 minutes long
it looks better when you don't draw 9 lands in a row. he didn't have many extra playables either, palinchron and swords would have been fine but i think he made the right choice.
@@menderbug1 upon further examination he ran 18 LANDS!! That's far too many with as much ramp as he had in deck. Swords to Plowshares, Oblivion Stone, and Spectral Procession are cards that can be played. Anything is better than getting flooded out.
The audio comes in about 1 second too early in your videos! Every vintage cube I've seen from you has this problem. Not a huge deal, just a bit annoying to hear you call something out before it happens. Could you do me a solid and fix it for the next one? :)

You destroyed LSV’s lands in the same video he talked about how much he loves destroying people’s land in cube. What a dream.
@@Reddgameplus Haha, one of the most satisfying things to do in Vintage Cube!

You know you are in for a wild one when you see there is 1 match and 3 minutes left in the video
I look forward to these drafts so much! I get so excited when I see a new one at the top of my feed!
To the CFB editor who has finally found an equalizer mix that works for LSV's voice: thank you!
Until he starts randomly whistling lmao
New LSV vintage cube video? Inject that straight into my veins.
Lsv: signets good
>opponent plays signet
Lsv: I'm confused by that
I think he meant he was confused as to what deck they were playing rather than the quality of its inclusion
@@hunlem yeah obviously but it's just still fucking funny to me
I lol'ed (LSV)
upload as many of these as you can! seeing "LSV cube" always makes me so happy to see ^.^
oh I will (LSV)
Saw how short the vid was and thought "man, the artifact deck just wasn't cutting it" Get to the end, and boy was I wrong! lol
Was anyone else nervous that the video might be edited wrong when there was three mins left in the video going into round three?

LSV could do 100 of these and I would probably watch all of them
That first match made me salty
its even worse when the opponent is on mono-slow
That mutavault as the like, 10th land draw was the straw that broke the camel's back for me
@@DuduRossetto 18 lands in a deck with a mox and tons of mana rocks made no sense to me.
@@Trisket he only drafted like 20 & 1/2 playables, of course he'd have way too many lands lol
Does anybody have a playlist of every LSV draft? I wanna watch these on a loop

Whenever I'm feeling down I can always count on the game at 39:40 to cheer me up. Praise be to Upheaval
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS.
He didn't get away with match 1, that's for sure
lol there was only 3 minutes left when round 3 started. Nut draws incoming!
Always love to see LSV drafts :)
Audio is ahead of video by like 3 seconds
Not a huge deal, but threw me off whenever LSV would talk about a nice draw before we saw it
Really digging all these cube vids thank you!
Oh good, more LSV Cube! I was wondering what to do with my life after catching up on these :O
that round 2 was INCREDIBLE
ok so was round 3
I enjoyed how the speed of these games went from 0-100. Game 1 felt like an eternity then games 5&6 end on turn 2 and 1 lol.
I love dropping a huge steaming (stone)coil.
😐
Man the first round was such hose town. Then RNGesus smiled upon you.
See that there are 10 minutes left in the video and that he still has 2 rounds to play
I was so certain this was going to be an 0-1 drop, or a very fast 0-2 drop, the way that first round was going. Amazing finish!
Dang I wish I hadn't watched this one so fast cause now I have yet again watched all LSV draft content on UA-cam :(
don't worry, I have two new videos today (LSV)
Was surprises to see the late newlamog pass with dynamo, tomb, fastbond and academy forget what it was up against but seemed very good.

Didn’t try to wheel Solemn *or* Lodestone? Shocking lack of greed ;)
Not trying to wheel Mox Sapphire? Smh
10:13 "a huge steaming stonecoil"? LSV you wild for that

that game 1 was brutal
I only wish videos could last forever
that round one was.... eugh.
always really fun to watch upheaval drafts though.
The last two games were insane

It’s always a good day in brown town
How this and every other draft is
Lsv hums something unrecognizable, mentions bk, makes a lot of faucet noises
This is what I'm here for.
Never noticed while the borrower was in exile... it reads “on an adventure in colored text” kinda cool. I wonder MTGO does that with all the adventure cards
LSV, please do mono red again. 17 mountains please I'm going to get some coffee. Remember your roots!

Thoroughly good stuff LSV, always enjoy Vintage Cube Season.
I want the picks to be selected randomly and then watch LSV narrate the packs and picks and try to rationalize it.
That actually sounds like a hilarious video.
12:12 Enlightened Tutor grabs artifacts. Wouldn't that be a good pick?
It would, but LSV irrationally hates tutor to the top of the library effects.
Nice draft, I would have picked up 1 more threat like the Ulamog or Stonecoil
Binge watching LSV cube drafts instead of the things I probably should be doing instead... no regrets
Lol love r1 opponent being all "no this is how you artifact ramp" then you draw non lands and wreck the next 2.
Will the next one be only 37 minutes? So fast! 😂
Vintage cube + LSV + the artifact deck...is there anything better?
LSV
Living the dream :D
The draws have been wurmcoil and 9 lands. Yeah. ... I got plenty of lands left. Hahaha🤣
Last opponent wasn't having any of your nonsense.
You took something over Riftwing? Who are you and what have you done with Luis?
Do five more vintage cube drafts if you're in danger
Round 3 guy was pretty mad.
Somehow this deck did exactly what I expected it too... almost no interaction, very few threats - of course it'll just sit on a bunch of mana without any good outs...
Gosh can I get an lsv vintage video every day please ??? How much must I pay you ????
DUDE. I know Enlightened Tutor usually sucks, but it was better than Yawgmoth.
I still love your insane drafting style though
Make moar of these plz!
Didn't force storm, taking bets now.
Hell yea
Show and Tell is playable????
That mystic confluence over ballista was weird. Why not just go for the holy artifact grail and make a 20/20 ballista?
Wow those last 2 games were such a stomping. Was this secretly a constructed deck?
I get so frustrated when you play 18 lands.
Going down to brown toooown!
Did anyone else here slot machine sounds go off as lsv played these matches?
MTG, a fair game XD no wonder arty deck got so many hits through the years.
What was lsvs fastest draft?
I think I trophied with a Mono-Green ramp deck that had Lotus and Craterhoof in about 40 minutes (LSV)
Apparently it’s Christmas in July cause LSV is going brown
24:28 R.I.P. germ token

Are we just gonna let this man get away with this?
Too many red decks for me to draft a deck of this nature.

He passed rift wing???? Imposter alert
Turn 1 lodestone into OP scoop, lol
Pantsless Karn vs Magmatic Stinkhole
