Use the rod you get from buying the pack if your not level 75 for the lake. Using this weak of a rod, if they get any distance on you gives you a game breaking glitch that makes your rod flail around like crazy and with flip your boat. Leading you to lose the fish anyway. It did work a few times when they didn't get distance, but also works with the better rods too.
