Yamaha Waverunner FXHO auxiliary fuel tank 20L. The perfect addition for riders who like long distance rides. The GC Jetski Fishing 20L auxiliary fuel tank fits to any 2019 and 2020 onwards FX series Yamaha Waverunner extending your riding distance before needing to fill up.
It is superior to every other kit out there in the sense that the weight sits forward and low, below the water line to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible, theres no worse place to carry 20L than strapped to one side of your fishing kit!
Filling the tank is made easy by plumbing the fill neck into the factory filler hose, the auxiliary tank will fill up at the same time you fill your main tank, no relocating filler caps or filling up via multiple filler caps necessary!
A smartly plumbed syphon system will use fuel from the auxiliary tank first, then when empty will feed from the main tank, no need for refueling while on the water, this system does it all for you without the rider having to do anything!
Fitted with a rollover safety valve to prevent fuel leakage or spillage in rough water or rollovers via the breather hose.
Dude, I love this set up verses having my gas rack in the back with my racing 5 gallon gas tank, price point is spot on, will save up for this in the near future. Thank you for sharing. Scott in sunny florida
Cheers Scott, really appreciate the feedback! A lot of thought has gone into this design to make it as good as it is :)
Great video!
I built myself a 42 liter auxiliary tank for my 22 FX HO. It’s removable and still gives me room upfront. Plus, I wired up a fuel transfer pump to pump additional gas from the back to the auxiliary tank. Talk about long range! I dive and fish far away. You’re design is really sleek and great for most who want it all. Thanks for sharing!
just ordered , looks awesome
Thank you! your order is on it's way
Own 2020 FX Cruiser. I have thought about pulling the trigger on this since this video came out about 5 times. Currently saving up, can't wait to be able to explore further.
Its a great addition to any new FX :)
Wow! That is awesome but i have a 2018 🥺
Looks great and very clean placement for it!
Thanks Vaughn! Thats unfortunate, I guess you will have to upgrade!
Nice bit of kit! Price is good too.
Thanks mate. Theres a lot of thought gone into these to make them work!
Can’t wait for mine to show up! 🇦🇺
Shouldnt be far away!
I was wondering if you ever connected your auxuliary fuel tank and how did it work out
yeah mate, i did have issues with filling initially, it would overflow easily. If i remember correctly, i had hooked up the breather wrong or something. But even after fixing it, i still had to fill the tank slowly - just the nature of the design i suppose. Other than that, it worked well!@@mjr882008
Ah, you’ll do well with this!
Any chance you’ll branch out and make larger fuel tanks for other skis?
I have a 2018 GTX Sea-Doo 300 Limited.
Always enjoy your videos!
Cheers Luke, maybe in the future I will make them for Seadoo... borrowing a ski to do R&D on is the only thing getting in the way
Hello, are these coming back in stock or are they discontinued? Thank you.
There will be more back in stock in the next few days, thanks!
Mate, when u making more. Should fit a 2013 model
Hi great product, can it be made larger ..say 30litres?
Hi, it gets a bit complicated in regards to the space it has to fit in in regards to the filler neck etc, it would need a bit of a redesign to make it work
@@GCJetskiFishing no worries thanks for the feed back, on further research your tank would be fine. Just hope you have the products for sale in 6-12 months when I buy a Fx ski.
Quick question..... I may be missing it, but how does the fuel get into/transfer to the main tank? With them both using the filler pipe, vacuum would be equal and nothing but the filler pipe is connected to the tank. Just a bit confused... edit see below
Never mind....put two and two together! Nice design. Now a 10 gallon one would be awesome!
Yeah it is a tricky design that many people struggle to get thier head around, and it took me a few goes to make it work properly :) larger would be nice but the extra weight and size of tank needed presents a few problems...
@@GCJetskiFishing Can you explain the design? Does the filler pipe go all the way to the bottom of the tank? Also, can you maybe repost this video with more light in the engine compartment. It was hard to verify the vent hose set up.
I just installed mine. Still unsure how the gas gets into the main tank. Can you explain it. Thank you.
@@craighuenergardt2198 the t section that the fuel filler hose connects to goes to the bottom of the tank. As the fuel is pumped out of the main tank by the pump, vacuum or a suction effect is created and pulls the fuel from the aux tank, that’s why you have to move the vent tube to the aux tank. It’s a very clever design. I wonder how much fuel is left in the aux after a full cycle?
Any more stock up for sale? I own the GP1800R and asking for my friend who own the 2019 FX Best regards from sarawak borneo.
more stock is currently in the making, hopefully only a week or 2 away. Please email via the website to get notified when they are available. Thanks!
Hi great idea..does this fit a 2018 VZ Yamaha model
No sorry it will not fit that model unfortunately!
Have you taken bobby out for a spin on your wave rider?
Not yet, always plan for this in the future though
How difficult would it be to retrofit this to a 2016 era FX?
I'm not sure to be honest, I'm pretty sure the storage compartment is a different shape and the filler hose is also in a different place so that could be an issue as well
Will this still work if I have a Riva power filter installed?
Yes it works fine with aftermarket air intake kits
Stupid Loud Music
Sorry!!!
When will these be available again ?
I will have more in stock near the end of this week
